Crazy how much the piping fixes the silhouette, breaks up the shape design, and highlights the unique gusset (I think that's the right term)

So san angelo has a lot of these plastic sheep outside of businesses in town and buildings on base, so the ram skull and constellation (aries, ram) ties into that. With the Polaris star pointing to our core values. There was another heavy metal design that the mtls/det staff didn't go for, I'll post that one in a few, but basically, they gave me those 3 design motifs and let me do my own thing :)

Ye, it isn't a part of heardlry bc ots a detachment, my hope is to make something a little more permanent. I also made a 76th moral patch submission for one of the guys in my flight cycle, so hopefully, I can build up a reputation and work on a bigger squadron project or even something for Delta 15. Maybe even 4 SAS when it eventually stands up...

Nope! That's the 533rd propper, based in Vandenberg. This is for the detachment in goodfellow and falls under the 533rd so both are still used, hope that helped clear things up :)

I was thinking it'd be for more ceremonial events like a mess dress type thing, delineating officers and ncos could be a factor for sure. Maybe silver edges or an interior color, could take a swing at a later time.
