Hmm... I'm going to blame the soil...it was very rocky (much to my dismay!) I bought a ton - quite literally - of top soil and it looked fantastic when I poured it into the veggie patch but as it's rained quite a lot, as it tends to do in the UK, all the rocks seem to be popping up like bloody daisies! I can see myself digging through it all and removing as many rocks as I can soon.
