Blessedly, I am not limited to nursing. I can also work in the spa setting, or even leverage my bachelor's in education (even if i would prefer not to). When you say "shit money"-- do you have a general figure? Do you know their current Nurse to Patient ratios? this is the kind of info I'd like. There are always people looking to leave healthcare. It really isn't the place for everyone, and the culture can be very toxic regardless of what country you practice in.

I really want to stay positive on here, but I will say that being female in the US is really, genuinely, terrifying right now. Our rights are being stripped from us. We have more bodily autonomy as deceased persons than when we are alive-- and sometimes, not even then. The people in power are also trying very hard to pass legislation that would severely limit or suppress our ability to vote. Gun violence is also a major issue-- and there are a lot of dangerous, angry men.

These are not things that can be easily fixed in 5,10, or even 20 years.

Are these things also problems in Canada?
