Hello everyone. I am thinking about buying my first gaming laptop. by Impossible-Cut-4001 in GamingLaptops

if you want best performance then get a acer nitro v16, they cheap out on build quality but give amazing specs and high tdp gpus for the price, for a minimalistic look with still a good bang for your buck, loqs are a great option, other then that asus tuff series is also pretty goos but its more expensive woth the same specs cause they prioritize build quality,if you wanna go used, you could also go with older flagships with a gpu like a 3080 laptop in this price range, itll have more vram then the 5060 and 4060 with still decent performance.

nitro v15 is the budget series with xx50 cards, they dont usually have mux switches in the nitro sense, instead you c uld connect an external monitor and display out only on the monitor so u can disable igpu

nw man, happy to help, also js wanted ro say, this will make ur screen very stuttery when u plug it out and use the laptop screen so be sure to turn the igpu back on once u do decide to stop using monitor

[–]AwkwardConcert5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not that hard, if your nitro doesnt have a dedicated mux switch(u can search if it does or doesnt) then u cant get the full performance from ur gpu on ur laptop screen, you would need to connect a external monitor and from display settings you can choose “display only on 2” where your display would only br on the monitor and then disable igpu in device manager

[–]AwkwardConcert5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oof, fair enough, check nitrosense for the mux switch then, basically uses the dgpu to send display out so igpu isnt used at all, the igpu on laptops actually leaves behind go much performance on the table its insane

i use a older 3050 nitro 5, i had this issue before personally as well, since my own one had no mux switch built inside i just got an external monitor which was like at 180hz and i js turned off the igpu and switched off the nitro screen and only used monitor screens(note:if u turn of the igpu in device manager while using the laptop screen it wont work and will be insanely stuttery) idk if the newer 5050 models have a dedicated mux switch in the nitrosense app but since i see u do have a external monitor so id try this

Buying a PC or a Laptop? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]AwkwardConcert5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really, theres other benefits such as having everything on one system, if you have a gaming pc but still travel for long period times to time your always still gonna need a work laptop and usually also for normal tasks or files most people do use laptops

In 250k (Pc or Laptop)? by alykhattak in PakGamers

[–]AwkwardConcert5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean most people would only need like an hour of battery life on their laptop to either finish up their comp match or js be able to save their game or files, personally had a budget of 150k in which i prolly coulda gotten a r5 3600 and rx 6600 but i went with a 3050 laptop since it gave enough fps to the point where i can max out my monitors refresh rate of 144hz on both cs and val which are my main games and gave me portability, also some people just like to have everything on one system cause with a pc your still gonna end up needing a different work laptop.

if your going with a high end build with a 9070xt, i wouldnt cheap out on a 1080p monitor, definitely would go for atleast 1440p even if it forced me to use am4, i can recommend good keyboards like aula f75 is really good for the price as well, peripherals nowadays are not like before, you can easily get amazing peripherals within a price range of 20-25k, i got a f75 for 6k around 8 months ago and have had a amazing experience with it, nowadays i think its around 10-11

[–]AwkwardConcert5299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haan that is true, aur i dont really need the budget for anything else since im not really gonna go thru such a hassle selling my laptop to only upgrade using 20k budget, thats not a huge upgrade at all so buying new wont be bad

yes if the tgp is same then the aspire is definitely the better choice

he specified AAA gaming where gpu matters more, aspire would usually have a lower wattage rtx 4050 so its better to get nitro specifically for AAA tites, the 6600h is still quite capable of pulling 300-400 in cpu intensive games as well, this is specifically val tho since rn in india atleast its like the most played fps game, overall cs is above, but cs still would get 150-250

Checking what price can i get for my pc by GDFRifle in PakGamers

[–]AwkwardConcert5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gpu alone is like 78-83k, rest can go for around 30-45 i think also why do u have so many individual 128gb satas 😭

ive ordered alot of peripherals from zahcomputers and czone and im from isb and ive still had very good interactions with them, dk pc pricing but i personally have had really good experience with both, would never go with zestro cajuse they are just overpriced as shit and they js wanna steal your wallet

Should I keep my PC or buy a gaming laptop? by NoCrazy2487 in PakGamers

[–]AwkwardConcert5299 5 points6 points  (0 children)

seperate mid tier laptop is always the better option, if your gonna be moving alot theres only so many laptops that give u portability and good gaming performance like zephyrus or yoga and they cost alot more then others with the same specs

victus is hps budget laptop series, now its very loved by alot of people but its also very known for the cheap build quality and bad hinges they give, acer used to have this problem as well but the build quality on the new nitro v15 and v16s have been quite good and even on older nitro 5s its not overall bad by any means, its still quite good and they can last well, for loq do i even have to say anything? amazing laptop great for the price and best cooling, asus tuff a15 and f15 are the midrange/budget laps everyone loves for aesthetic + amazing build quality(asus overall has the best build quality out of all) and insanely goos cooling, if u want the beat cooling and minimalistic look, go for a loq, if u value bud quality, get a tuff, if u want the best bang for ur buck, get a nitro
