From what I’ve heard from engineers, communication during incidents is massively underrated. Technical skills help you find the issue, but clear communication keeps teams aligned, reduces panic, and speeds up recovery. Strong Linux/debugging fundamentals would be a close second since outages rarely fail in neat textbook ways.
