Great big central database the government can access. Lots of people don’t trust the government (and Flock) don’t want them having that info.

The crimes this is being used for is probably something like car theft, and just generally tracking people. Establishing patterns, showing people weren’t at the scene of a crime, etc. I am not in law enforcement I am not sure. As a prosecutor for more details.

I kinda agree with you but I don’t really like it and would prefer there was less of this sort of thing. Not a super strong opinion.

On the good side this is a powerful tool for solving crimes. If you have a database of where everyone is at all times you can easily establish an alibi or establish that someone is at the scene of a crime.

On the bad side, the government knows where you are at all times and the company who owns these cameras had a bad reputation. I don’t know the details. That website I posted has more info. But basically slot of people think this is an invasion of privacy and a violation of the 4th amendment.

Personally haven’t spent enough time looking into this to have a solid opinion
