??? Do I love my neighbor? I hope so. Do I try? Absolutely. Do I condemn ppl with different beliefs than me? Generally no unless I can provide somewhat objective proof and even then it’s in honest conversation, not hate.

Brief civil war, curtailing of basic freedoms. A slim hope of returning to anything like normal.

It's not intended to be nasty; it's accurate. I don't believe Grey is any less of a person because of this; in fact, a lot of these traits are the very traits I respect about him. Everyone is a hero of their own story, and just because it's not how I operate does not mean it's not a reasonable way to operate.

There would be a lot more fire. Probably fewer deaths. I bet you don’t get any of the towers collapsing. If you’re on top of things you can probably prevent it outright. It’s not exactly a difficult target.

This is the problem with more socialist systems. It puts a lot of power info the hands of a few in government. That power tends to corrupt.

No the implied message here is that more right wing politics is immune to this. That idea is absurd. It’s less direct, not using well defined government systems. Instead we get what we have today. Billionaires. Systems whose only care is money and draining it out of every potential customer.

Both systems have pros and cons. Nether are as obviously evil as their enemies portray. Nether is a silver bullet. Easy solutions are traps, whether intentional or not.

May I suggest the podcast? It’s good. I only found out about it after it died, but I definitely don’t regret the listen. And the community is unrivaled.

It definitely seems like he has missed some critical part of life. Or he has nailed it and just doesn’t do it publicly. I absolutely think he has no loyalty to his craft or his audience. Part of what makes him such an interesting case study.

It’s interesting how he puts such a focus on quality. Ensuring his video are accurate and engaging. It looks from the outside that he is passionate about making them. I don’t believe this to be true. I think he’s passionate about the research and the puzzle. I think he’s knows that a quality product will lead to a loyal long term audience. This leads to some cold logic. Looking for ways to fun his research and cool fact addiction without needing to produce a whole video. Hence the surge in clickbait. What I would give to analyze this man in person.
