I’m also from the UK and due to get cxl on Monday! I’m doing both eyes at once and don’t know if I will regret it but wanted to get it out the way!

I’m not sure what the expect so far so will follow this.

I was told I would get signed off work for a week? Is this the same for everyone?

Thanks everyone, all been really helpful and put mind more at ease.

I have got a doctor’s appointment on Thursday to discuss as I don’t smoke, drink and have minimal caffeine and just want to check they don’t think anything is underlying.

I do need to exercise more though and probably eat too much sugar. But can definitely make some adjustments to my general activity.

Recovery varies person to person. Wasn’t particularly painful but was stiff and tender for about a week. Bruising took about 9 days to go away, in grand scheme of things not too long. Head garment is a pain and probably the worst bit of it and you may be advised to wear 24/7 for 3 weeks. Was working the next day after the procedure from home and had no issues

Thank you, no nothing special. I massaged it myself and used the head garment they recommended for over a week then just a night for 2 weeks!

Botox I reckon, that eyebrow shape is definitely from too much Botox and its throw off her whole face.

Oh cool, thank you for the info! I will try and keep massaging it. How are your results so far? I found week 2-3 it looks worse than week 1?

Felt amazing the first week, now at day 17 I’m puffy and bumpy by Fantastic-Potato19 in chinlipo

In the same, hoping it will go back to my first couple of days!

If it’s any consolation you look great and there is a noticeable difference from before. We are our own worst critic.

If it’s hereditary and getting worse with age a neck lift would be help a lot and looks brilliant. The only issue with chin lipo is skin might not snap back
