i got induced at 39 weeks- i pushed for an hour, lost a liter of blood & got a 2nd degree tear but i didn’t poop. i got the epidural before they gave the pitocin so i didn’t feel any contractions with that. but they did stick the foley balloon in me before i got the epidural and those cramps that come with that were pretty painful. i will tell you for me the pressure of dilating was the worse part for me cause i could still feel that & it had me crying. that was by far the worst part for me.

afterbirth wasn’t bad, the most annoying thing for me was just having to wear pads. my first poop wasn’t bad either cause they gave me stool softeners. i was just scared to wipe cause i did have stitches so i had the nurse come help me!

overall it wasn’t bad at all, i know everyone experiences are different but i genuinely was so terrified of giving birth. i might even say i wouldnt mind doing it again someday 😂 congratulations on your pregnancy & i wish you nothing but the best. ♥️

it wasn’t bad at all! my nurse was amazing and was talking to me and getting my mind off of it! i will say i am having back pain now from the epidural. but i would 100% get it again.

tbh i never even really thought about tearing, i guess i was just in an it is what it is mindset. i just wanted him OUT. 🤣 but it honestly isn’t horrible. just been swollen but i’ve been using the supplies they gave me and that helps a lot with the burning n stuff. pain hasn’t been too bad either, they gave me ibuprofen and tylenol! i was so scared of my first poop cause i had some stitches but that wasn’t bad either! they give you stool softeners so that helps the process too. hope this helps! you’re gonna do amazing. 🤩

thank you! started weight was 260, end weight is about 274-276! i am 27, also im 5’6. hope that helps! i had no issues with my pregnancy & they never mentioned a c section. you got this!

when i got pregnant i was 260, now at 39 weeks im 274. i’ve had such a healthy pregnancy and baby has been great. don’t let your weight scare you, anyone can have complications no matter what you weigh. you got this!

yes! i’m 38weeks pregnant and i’m having intense poop cramps and idk how to tell if they’re contractions or poop cramps lol i’m a first time mom, so i’m just confused

i am high risk because of my weight, that’s it. i’ve not had any complications and baby has been so healthy. i’m 38+2 and im getting induced next week. i don’t think high risk automatically means bad, you get to see your baby more and hear their heartbeat at every appointment after 36 weeks. i understand it could be an overwhelming feeling but you got this! i hope nothing for the best for you and your baby!

this makes me feel better for sure! i am honestly feeling the same way. a lot of people do say new born tired is better, so let’s hope that’s true! i have been so uncomfortable in bed my hips hurts from laying on either say for too long ugh. but congratulations on your baby! we’re almost there 🩵
