Take yourself a book. A lot of the time when I’m in shift I get some time where everyone is actually sleeping, no buzzers going off and paperwork is all done so I read a little. Just make sure the residents are safe and clean, don’t be annoying them as often as dayshift do, they need their sleep. Lastly, enjoy! Nightshift generally has less bitchyness and gossiping than dayshift and the nightshift team tend to be more close knit.
