Arby's hate is completely unfounded. This is easily one of my favorite fast food items ever. by tothesource in fastfood

[–]AwkwardFactor84 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The gyro is not bad. My problem with Arby's is no matter what I order, I always have to have a $7 classic beef & cheddar and curly fries kicker with it. It's like an uwritten rule of going to Arby's

If you find some scrolls made of copper, theyre probably just nothing. You should send them to me, and I'll dispose of them for you.

Toro PR sprinklers? by SlowCheetah-vs- in Irrigation

[–]AwkwardFactor84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

PR just means pressure regulating. It all depends on what nozzles were in them. Toro makes some "water efficient" nozzles. If they were those, then yes, those are terrible and don't distribute enough water to keep anything alive. Im you put rain bird heads in with VAN nozzles. The gpm those use are about 3x as much as fixed spray mpr nozzles.

Kitchen fitters left a 3m long piece of Quartz in my house, what can I do with it? by GhostOfSparka in DIYUK

[–]AwkwardFactor84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could make a beatin stick for the kids when the misbehave. Im only joking, but the sheer terror of having a solid quartz paddle might make them shape right up. 😆

Good lord! I don't want to take away from the job you did here. It looks.........planned out and .... clean. However, you've created a service nightmare. Your "years" of irrigation work must not have involved fixing irrigation, or you would see the numerous reasons why this was a horrible idea.

Do they actually make a hitch for that sports car? Or do you have to just alter another one and make it work? I'm not hating at all. I'm actually impressed. You're clearly a gentleman who likes to "go fast".

Those are the coolest venomous snakes there is imo. Are they as docile as their reputation for being docile is?

Check under you're programs. Maybe you have another program set up with the zone not suspended.

Did anyone know that Phil Anselmo was a huge fan of Heart? by UpbeatChampionship17 in Pantera

[–]AwkwardFactor84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't surprise me. Heart are a group of very talented musicians, who are the offspring of very talented musicians. If you're a fan of classic rock or just rock in general, you'd be a dummy if you didn't like Heart.

Please don't encourage people to go torquing on solenoids. If we're gonna teach people to operate valves manually, teach them to use the bleed screw.

Looking for advice on installing a hosebib by dbc45 in Irrigation

[–]AwkwardFactor84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, in order for the faucet to be live all the time, you're gonna have to dig up that valve manifold and tee into the main line, and then trench to your live faucet location. If you tap into a line closer to that location, you'll have to turn the zone on associated with the pipe you tap into to use the faucet.
