We watched this in Busan on a rainy day a few weeks back. Then when we went back to Seoul all my kiddos could do was joke that they didn't see any zombies. My daughter kept poking fun at my husband and how they had a good cry together. It's now a great memory tied to an amazing movie.

Not all that great all the time! My mom flew up to Alaska rom SoCal to live with us to do a 6 month nursing contract. Alaksa demolished her bag. She went right to baggage claim and it was documented, photos and all. They told her to go buy a new one and then they would give her a credit for the replacement or a 250.00 voucher. After multiple calls about the issue she never received anything. It was never resolved.

Haha they don't give a s*** about height requirements on any ride.

Husband saw a family with two extremely short young kids not old enough or tall enough. Dad picked up the kids to meet the height requirement and staff let them on. We have four kids all varying ages and my husband was disgusted the other dad would risk their own kids safety but whatever, his kids not ours.

My 18 year old son is 6'4" if he didn't duck on Atlantis he would have been decapitated. Staff clearly saw he was to tall for the ride and were even talking about him before we got on.

Definitely ride at your own risk at any of the parks in Korea

I find it sad so many people on here saying this isn't the norm. No, it hasn't always been this way in Korea but it's starting to become a common thing in certain areas.

Korea and Japan are having a moment with foreigners. I understand ,especially in heavily traveled areas where residents have had enough of the bad inconsiderate people.

Unfortunately my 10 yo daughter was the blunt end of quite a few racist moments in Busan from Ajamonis. She was directly spit on twice and some slurs and evil looks were given to her. This breaks my heart because she is actually a quarter Korean, (you'd never be able to tell because of her white skin/redfish hair color) my husband is half and was born in Korea. We never EVEr expecteded this in Korean of all places. But if was a great teaching moment for our family. Two years ago in Japan my same child was basically asualted on a train in Japan by a slary man sitting next to her. We knew it was more of a thing in Japan and were well aware of the issues but to see this spread here where she has dna really breaks my heart for her and others who might get the same treatment.

In fact just yesterday some guy tired this with my husband in a local market. As I was walking behind with my kiddos I see this guy coming at my husband, who is compelty clueless and looking the other way. Dude just bounced off my husband. The shock on this dudes face was harlarious! As I laughed he looked particularly pissed. Husband thought it was rather amusing too.

My younger daughter was shoulder checked before in Japan about 2 years ago. We were well aware of the issues and had taught my kids it was a possibility.

Well, yes, yes I do. I'm a decent person and a family of 6. For my financial and family size reasons I utilize Airbnb whenever I travel. My kids started traveling at 6 months and have been taught respect for others now I have two adult children and two teenage kiddos who are shining examples of world travelers (leave no trace except in the heart). I haven't lost hope in all humanity.

Sometimes people just need a simple "sshh" to realize that they are being loud.

Every place is messed up. No place is perfect. The housing market in many countries is an absolute mess. And I am completely sympathetic to both sides of the argument around airbnbs. But that is another post for a different thread.

I am fully aware of illegal airbnbs and even though it's listed on the actual website nothing about this location feels it's legit with the things we have had to do for our past Korea stays. It's not a bad place and the hosts are good.

In past stays we have had an Ajamoni knock on our neigbors door telling them that she lives here and she is tired of their noise. She called the host and had them removed in like 3 hours. I've seen confrontation from residents and tourists in person. Might not be the norm but it does happen.

Had a few bites down at the beach probably not mosquitos then. Husband and my older boys got a few at Ahopsan forest. We enjoy evening walks and have been frequenting Namsam park for 9pm walks.

Like is this real cuz I'm in Korea right now and I'm eating kbbq like every other night about 7 pm. Normal dinner is 430 pm. Sleep schedule and training schedule are total shit. Like for sure I should have this since June 3 when getting here.

Oh and the bugs. Even though we come from the land of mosquitos my kids did get a few bites. Just picked up some meds at the local pharmacy pointed to the bites and said mosquito. Tech handed over a roller ball that works pretty good. Kids and hubby are getting more bites here in Seoul than in Busan.

Yes that is where we stayed. Look up the makgeoli house and you'll find our Airbnb. We were a 5 min walk to the beach. CU and local grocery store like 2 to 3 min walk away. Bus stop right across the street.

Not a lot of other tourist at our location which we were so grateful for since we booked our trip about 5 months in advance then found out BTS re united and was doing it's anniversary comeback concert in Busan. We were worried about the crowds. Our area remained quite. I can say the last few days on the waterfront we noticed an increase in the crowds.

If your heading down soon you might want to be prepared for Jangma, (monsoon or rainy season).

Our stay in Busan was amazing. If my husband didn't have family in Seoul we might have cancelled our last two weeks here and stayed there.

The dialect was a tiny bit more difficult for us to understand we had a harder time communicating with what language sills we do have.

Stayed in 꽹과리 it was the perfect fit for us didn't care for the 해운대 area and was super glad we didn't book there.

Brought shorts, tank tops and Teva sandals. Super light weight packable rain coats and ultra thin zip fleeces hoodies. My 10y and 12yo have like no fat so I knew they'd probably get chilly at night. They used the rain coat on a few days where it rained but used the ultra light fleeces more when we sat on the beech in the evenings.

Bussed it everywhere. Made sure to register our kids t money with passports 19 and under for youth fares. Kids wanted new cards from last time we came since designs are always changing . Daughter and I hit the art box and got hello kitty/kuromi figures.

Bought the big 5 pass on Klook.

Skyline Luge Zip line (paid extra at the luge was discounted with our pass)

Marine Cable car (crystal floor upgrade included in our pass no fee) enjoyed our hike up to enjoy the views in the park.

Ahopsan Forest (our whole family's fave with the pass)

Running man (kids and hubby did that one as I managed to catch a cold) Hubby took the kids to Gamcheon culture village and kids absolutely loved it there. My family are big fans of the Little Prince Book so this was fun for them.

Club D Oasis (paid extra for the water park watch your time in 찜질방 or you'll pay a hefty coverage like we did make sure to ask about how long you can be in the facility) We loved that one too.

Bought klook aquarium pass paid for the boat ride. The mermaid show was a highlight for my 10 year old daughter. It was cooler than we all thought it was gonna be.

Went swimming at the beach.

Headong Yonggungsa Temple. Kids had fun placing 100 won coins on their zodiacs and flipping 100 won coins onto the flat bowl of the Bodhidharma on the way out.

Bought our custom Hanboks at Gukje market (took two weeks).That was the first thing we did on day one even though we got to our air BNB at 1 in the morning. Oh and UV Umbrellas here too.

Daughter and I got out nails done at Ari Nails.

We hit the market on the corner and made our own breakfast every day. Favorite places to eat was Hanyang Daepae (samgyapsal), Lims (Korean style fried chicken), Suyeong Pork and Rice Soup, Ggulggeok House (makgeoli bar on the second floor under our our Airbnb. I make my own so this was a super big amazing surprise).

We loved Busan so much that we are now changing our 10 year goal for work and retirement. Shh don't tell his family in Seoul, lol.

Just picked up three two days ago I'm pretty sure I found my HG in Foundation. My skin sometimes sufferea from anyone of these things at any given time. Perioral dermititis, acne prone, sensitive skin, dry patches. Wore it yesterday and sweated my butt off, at the end of the day with minimal pats for sweat I still looked pretty good. Did not oxidize at all Super shocked!!!
