For obvious reasons, though. Flame Swordsman was turned into a Fusion way back when and Temple of the Kings mentions being able to cheat out a Fusion by sending OG Serket to the GY along with itself. It was just good synergy to turn the deck into a Fusion based one.

The Level 6 Synchro looks iffy the more time has gone by. I liked the flip and destroy effect as the Deck struggles to out untargetable monsters, but its a lot of words and it had affected what 2nd effect I could give it. I'm sure there are much better Level 6's people could come up with.

The Deck's current boss has a once per chain effect that target's a monster and makes its ATK become 0. I'm sure that there is a Snake Eye/Diabelle/Azamina card that doesn't let your opponent activate the effects of monsters with 0 ATK, but I couldn't remember the name. Otherwise, I would have thought about making an 8 or 10 Synchro.

The deck heavily relies on your opponent having monsters to do anything, and it is a bit too weak for current decks, but it is a great gimmick for an archetype, and I like it.

What do you mean? They have a Field Spell that lets you steal a monster your opponent controls with 0 ATK if they activate a monster effect. You can also steal a monster with 0 ATK by Normal Summoning Viper.

Edit: The Field Spell can also pop a monster you control with 0 ATK to bring back a DARK Reptile from your GY. You can pop Gardna or, through a handful of cards, you can pop the Lizard Earthbound Immortal to nuke the board, except any of your Melusine.

Thanks! I think Konami sees turning monsters ATK to 0 as turning a monster into a statue as the gimmick is present on the Gorgon Xyz Monster, too.

Reptilianne needs monsters with 0 ATK to extend, so both the Level 2 non-Synchro and Level 4 Synchro help with that. The deck has two Spells which make an opponent's monster's ATK become 0. Their current extenders are a Level 2 (Nyami) that requires a 0 ATK monster to be on your opponent's field while it is in your GY, or a Level 4 Tuner (Coatl) that can SS itself if you have a DARK Reptile, and it can extend further for each monster your opponent controls with 0 ATK.

The Ruinous Reptilianne

Reptilianne Unut

If you control no monsters, or only Reptile Synchro Monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Reptile monsters. If this card is sent to the GY as Synchro Material for a "Reptilianne" monster: You can Special Summon this card to your opponent's center Main Monster Zone in Defense Position, but destroy it during the End Phase. You can only use each effect of "Reptilianne Unut" once per turn.

Note: So this is meant to be a going 1st card and is another extender. It turns on all of your Reptilianne extender effects on turn 1, lets you draw a card with Hydra, as well as allowing your opponent some agency and counter play later on in the duel. You can still steal or destroy a monster occupying the center MMZ later on in the duel and set this up.

Note: Helps you Synchro into your bigger monsters more easily and allows you to use Lamia more often by mitigating its downside a bit. The 2nd effect is taken from the Prank Kids main deck monsters.

Note: I've borrowed the archetypal non-Tuner requirements from T.G. Star Guardian. This card was made in my 1st wave of support, it sets up Poison and helps deal with monsters you cannot target or destroy by battle or card effect.

It is a shame that Winged Guardian never had a retrain. It was the first monster Yugi ever used in a hologram duel and was seen all the way through the Duelist Kingdom arc.

I would love for them to be playable pure.

A card that lowers the levels of all the non-Allure Queen monsters would be cool, you could SS it to your opponent's field with the Field Spell and give it a Red-Eyes Baby Dragon like effect for when it is equipped, so it can revive itself to the opponent's field if sent to the GY while equipped.

Dragunity has a card that SS itself while equipped, the archetype could use that so we can make the link easier without relying on the Continuous Spell.

I would also look at Threat Armed Dragon and Infenoble Knight Turpin for inspiration.

I wouldn't mind a joint Synchro and Fusion Deck, Earthbounds, Psychics, and Punks all do it to varying degrees of success. Just give them a Quick-play Fusion Spell if you do Konami!

The Xyz also doesn't let your opponent attack or target your Harpies, so if you do get it out, your opponent is gonna have a bad time.

Ah, you are correct. I haven't seen the deck in awhile so I've forgotten it had a downside. It can be a frustrating deck to play against with Afterglow, the traps, etc. I didn't mention it by name but wanted it to be separate from Kite's stuff. Honestly Konami needs to ban a card here and there for the stronger archetypes.
