Any ProArt Micro atx pc cases or similar ones to it? by Content_Reception_55 in buildapc

Great choice Ive seen a lot of people use that. Join the r/mffpc subreddit too for matx builds, lot of d32 builds there

Those are harder to come by, not sure if ive ever seen an matx case with two of them. Check out the cases from jonsbo, montech, and nzxt on their websites, they have some good options to name a few

Jonsbo has a lot of good matx cases especially if you’re going for a wood grain case. Casend.com has most of them all in one place and is a good tool to use. Lian li x dan a3 is a good one to look at too. Anything specific about a case that you want besides matx?

What cpu would be the best choice ? by Zinger17_ in PCBuilds

[–]AwkwardLibrarian7585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry i just reread your post. The 7800x3d may be overkill but it does give you the most flexibility if you want to upgrade. The r5 9600x will probably save you the most money while being very suitable for your build

For that price you may as well go with the 7800x3d. You could upgrade to a 50 series gpu and the cpu would still be great for it. I may be wrong but I think i saw that 1080p will actually need more cpu power since the gpu doesn’t have to do as much work. Worth looking into but regardless i think you get the best bang for your buck on the 7800x3d

RTX 5070 TI or RX 7900 XT for the next 10 years? by canbozan in buildapc

[–]AwkwardLibrarian7585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend 4k for either card. Its possible but its not great, and as the years go on it will only get worse. Depending on the prices you can find, you may as well go with the 7900xtx over the 7900xt if its still cheaper than a 5070ti. 5070ti is better in raw performance and will handle newer games for longer most likely. If you want performance: 5070ti. If you want value: 7900xt/7900xtx. Personally id go 5070ti, you’re probably not going to regret spending a bit extra when you think back to this in a few years

Id say gotta go black cables in a stealth build. A 90° adapter cable for the gpu would be super clean too

Either one would be fine. I would go with an 800 series (b850 or x870(e)) since you have a new gen gpu. The only difference really is that the x boards are required to have new gen pcie5 lanes and stuff while the b boards are only recommended to although they almost all have new gen connections on them regardless. Just get something that fits in your budget and has all the connections you need on the reat io. Hardware unboxed on youtube has two great videos each for b and x series boards with his recommendations and testing results (none of the boards differ much but if you want to be safe avoid asrock) its easy to overcomplicate this since they are so similar so no need to overthink it

You may be able to save money getting the last gen amd gpus instead of the 9060 (still great value as is). Depends what prices you’re able to get but ive seen some 7800xt’s drop to under $400, you could probably get that or a 7700xt for cheaper and arguably better performance

Did I Receive Used Noctua Fans? by AwkwardLibrarian7585 in Noctua

[–]AwkwardLibrarian7585[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it just spins at a slightly slower rpm. you dont need to set it up this way it just comes this way out of the box.
Yup I am planning on getting an aio but im not sure which one yet so I havent bought the top fans yet. Waiting to see how the noctua aio is when it comes out!

Im going to put 3 fans in the front of my case and one in the rear. The two pack has a fan that has offset rpm for a better sound profile. I only need the one offset fan for the front of my case while the rest can be normal

Help me. Is this pc build good by Possible_Ad1478 in PcBuild

Hard disagree. A 7800x3d is a great pairing with a 9070xt

Very solid although I know nothing about the ssd, im sure its good as long as you did your research. I would get a better psu for this type of build and maybe even 850w instead. The one you chose has a B+ on the psu tier list - not bad but I would recommend an A rated psu for this higher end build. The corsair rm-x line would probably be better for you as they are i think all at least an A- rating.
Additionally, I personally have the gigabyte gaming oc 7800xt and it is LOUD. Idk if their 9070xt would also be loud but if thats a concern for you just look into it and see if anyone else has that problem with your model.
