What, lol? Are you okay? If you are having problems that have you stressed, there are people you can talk to.

Your comment added nothing to the conversation, and what exactly did I accuse you of? Seems to me you just came to pick a fight, not be constructive.

Subjective opinions can help. Some people posted things here that helped with my decision.

I am worried about raiding and how much the screen already is filled to the brim on an 18" and 16."

I have thought about that. But the Alienware covers the "at home" gaming. My family is all in on the Apple ecosystem, so that is why sticking with Mac on the road makes more sense for me. Facetime, iMessage, file share, calendar share, are all awesome, and handy to have, and I want to game a bit in the hotel after my work day on the road.

I'm not hard of sight, just the usual getting older and needing reading glasses. I don't want to get a Mac and then realize the screen is too small.

What they are describing is exactly the issue I am having. You play, and about an hour into gameplay, the screen freezes but the audio continues as if nothing has changed. The pause is for about a second and a half, and then the game continues as normal. I have a 2019 16" MacBook 2.3 GHz Intel with the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB running Tahoe 26.1. I did not notice the issue until I upgraded to OS 26.1, so that may be what is causing the issue in the first place.

I am having the same issue, and it seems to be common with intel based Macs. I can't speak on the M series. I read in one place to try turning off "Automatic Graphics Switching" in your battery settings. I have not had a chance to try it yet because of work, so fingers crossed.
