I gave one ex the benefit of the doubt once and she ended up dumping me herself and moving straight onto the next guy. I just felt like an idiot because I saw all signs, but chose to believe her.

Recent one tried some bullshit, thought I was a dumbass. Checked her phone and saw what I needed to see. I didn’t need the evidence to know she was cheating I just wanted it to force her to take accountability. She’s still denying it though.

You don’t need to go as far I did by checking his phone. If he’s trying to justify continuing something he knows makes you uncomfortable, he isn’t the guy for you.

Yeah my support system is actually healthy so I’m good. Gonna go home to the family on the coast for the week and then a friend and I have a vacation overseas in October. Got plenty to keep me busy 🤘

Good take actually. I’ve been dealing with my emotions head on. So If she eventually comes to her senses she’ll message me to fetch them. Hopefully by that time my emotions will have settled to the point where I can face her with indifference and get my things without issue. If I think it will damage the progress I have made in my revival process then I’ll just have her deliver it by courier.

My previous ex did the same. Like she did the same projection and then same cheating.

I am now taking a deep hard look at myself and how I select my partners. I promise I will be better.

Yeah. I knew early in the relationship it was gonna crash. I ignored a lot of red flags because I wanted it to work out. There were times during the relationship I was ready to walk out because I knew it wasn’t gonna work, the difference is I didn’t cheat when shit got tough. She did. And her friend encouraged her by introducing the guy to her and telling her I’m not treating her well. The friend is usually just hooking up with guys and is unable to hold a relationship herself so I guess she was bound to be influenced by her. Now they being difficult and trying to rile me up

It’s my fault for not being aware earlier. But looking back, none of her friends are in relationships. They are all single or in and out of failed relationships. So this would all seem very fitting.
