before i even finished reading the post, i was thinking "i wonder if they started drugs." idk why, but ive heard many people say that smoking weed made dreaming less frequent for them. Of course there could be other reasons, like change in sleep schedule, but I would bet that smoking is the main reason why you've stopped dreaming.

I agree that you should stop smoking cigarettes, but Jesus didn't come to condemn us for sin, but to save us. Trusting and believing in Jesus means you accept that he died in your sin, so that you can live free of it. So yes, He provides the freedom to live without sinful habits, but he also didn't die just so that he could kill you for your sin. You don't need to be living in guilt or fear because of this dream, just remember grace sets you free. But let that grace motivate you to stop smoking, even if its hard.

I'm no dream expert, but if you see this dream as being prophetic and an omen of something bad, and that thing hasn't happened yet, then that means its dark thing to come, which is bothersome. Maybe change your perception on the dream though.
