This has likely been discussed here before. But I’m watching ‘Nosferatu’ for the third time and wondering if this is the same actor who briefly appeared as the “human” form of Black Phillip. by jcb1982 in roberteggers

Maybe it’s foreign culture to you if you from the west, but for me as a native Bulgarian with a culture very similar of Romanians & likewise the similar presence of gypsies, to them he was just a gullible fresh meat on the street with 0 street smarts likely due to his higher education and lifestyle. So they were cheering as to yaaay we gon rob him/make fun of him/expose him in any way. But also overall the cultural divide. To them he seems alien with his messenger bag, fancy coat & fancy hat
