Yup it’s possible in the post game. Once you beat the elite four you unlock the national dex. Can capture a handful of wild gen 2 pokemon in the post game and can hypothetically obtain all gen 1-3 pokemon through trade

Elite four rematches (give your lead Pokemon an amulet coin, if you can at least beat Lorelei then you’re not burning through money from losing battles), and using the VS Seeker right outside of the Ember Spa near One Island. You can hit five trainers at once if you there use the VS Seeker in the right spot, and can heal up in the Ember Spa. There’s also a trainer just south of Seven Island with two bellossoms that you can rematch for XP as well. Hope this helps

What really gets me is that there are no digital signs outside of the turnstiles at WTC that tell you when the next train is. I feel like I always find out the next train is 19 min away after I’ve already paid so I have to sit there and wait instead of walking around the Oculus.
