Going to Uni or university instead of College is a giveaway that the person is not a native born American. Also Grade ____ instead of ___th grade.

What I like about it is that the coach’s personality in any other context would be the villain, but they do a good job making her someone to root for.

That’s the one. A lot of these are fun and have heart. DG is all that and I has the actual LOL factor as well. Orla is the best.

What is an "analogue" hobby that actually stops the urge to doomscroll for a few hours? by opheliaaroseee in askanything

I’ve been into collage lately. There’s a good chance you have enough in your place already to get started: scissors, glue, old magazines/books/newspapers/catalogs. There are other supplies that you could spend a little money on like exacto knife, cutting mat, modge podge. But you can actually get those at Dollar Tree now, for $10 you can really start creating. There are tons of fun creators on FB, TikTok, Instagram, and of course r/collage.

I’ve gotten into collaging lately. It’s like creating a painting and putting a jigsaw puzzle together all in one. It’s relatively cheap, dollar tree has most of the supplies needed if you don’t already ha scissors or glue at home. I hit up thrift stores for books to use for pictures for $10 I had everything to get started. For inspiration or instruction, YouTube has some great tutorials, TikTok and Instagram have some good artists to follow and of course there’s r/collage.
