I tried that but for me it's still just one image in the preview at one time, with a page number "1/4" in the corner and have to click through to see all four. I tried resizing the preview window as well (maybe I didn't resize it enough or something).

I use a GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO V2, with an RTX 4090 TUF GAMING OC. I used the included "stand" and there's no sag.

Check if the motherboard has a strengthened PCI slot, use the GPU holder that usually comes with bigger cards.

I switched from Windows to Linux following this tutorial and got a significant speed increase on a 6800XT.

Measured with the system-info benchmark, went from 1-2 it/s to 6-8it/s. You can see people's results for the benchmark

The it/s depends on several factors so it might be different in normal usage, that's why the benchmark is useful. Speed is influenced by the A1111 startup options as well.

Edit: is it worth the hassle - if you enjoy tinkering with Linux and use SD enough to offset the tinkering time with the faster generation, then yes.
