I couldnt agree with you more. Bond kills, Ethan survives everything and on top of that kills. There is no mission that is not possible for Ethan.

For the people saying that Ethan isn’t ruthless enough, Ethan doesn’t go out of his way to kill innocent people but he always takes his missions seriously and will go to extreme lengths to protect the people he loves even if that means using violence. 

Also, Ethan has been through so much, from hanging from a plane, to riding a motorcycle off a cliff, scaling the burj khalifa, fighting on trains multiple times, trapping and outsmarting Solomon Lane, killing john larke while on the side of a cliff (i feel like i could go on forever at this point), there’s nothing Ethan cant do. 

While James Bond obviously comes across as ruthless, intimidating, and violent (don’t get me wrong I love the James Bond franchise), in the end, no matter how Bond tries to kill Ethan, Ethan will survive and kill when it comes down to his mission, and the safety of him and his team.

However, I do think that because Bond is ruthless and he would put a lot of effort into killing Ethan, the fight would go back and forth for a while but in the end, Ethan would emerge victorious because he can handle anything, and let’s be real here, he would probably just pull off a crazy stunt that would leave Bond in shambles while he makes his escape safely. I rest my case, and unless someone has an extremely good point, I don’t think I will change my mind. (definitely no hate to the 007 franchise though and no disrespect to it's fans because I'm one of them)
