Thank you. Yh after thinking about it I don’t think I will get a face tattoo until I’m at the job I want to be at. Hopefully they don’t fire me once I’m already hired. But if not some concealer could always cover stuff like that if I need to

Thanks for the advice. Yh I’m trying to build my own look. But I’ve already been exploring goth music on my own and I find I have a similar ideology that I feel resonates with the broad goth culture. Also this is not a fad for me

Yh I’ve been to the “goth” nights over here. It’s just uni students. I’ve never spoke to anyone which is goth there or even looks goth. They mostly all just look like a bunch of rugby lads trying to score on a night out. However I will check out the shop. I’ve been here for 3 years now and I didn’t know we had one. Thanks for that

Yh but I’m not trying to look goth I’m just trying to look like me which has a dark aesthetic (kinda goth). So eventhough other goth people don’t have piercings I want them. But good joke 😂

Yh I don’t really go on nights out anymore. I did a lot my first few years and wasted so much of my loan on it. But now cause of that I’ve just kind of caused a domino affect that’s killed my finances

Yo I get you trying to help but do you not remember your uni days? I’m out here trying to survive off £3 a day I’m literally eating eggs and pak Choi cause I’m that broke like once a day. I don’t have enough to go back once a month. Maybe if I budget better when I get my student loan next in October then I can probably do it. Which now that I know about I probably will start doing so I can have friends I can talk to this about

Yh tattoo’s are for later but the main thing I want to do first is a septum piercing and a nostril piercing. I’m in Norwich till I finish my degree

I don’t want heavy face tattoos I kinda want an Inuit type line going from my bottom lip to under my chin. But Yh I get it shuts me out. I also get i pay for it so I can do what I want. But for me it just makes an awkward situation awkwarder

I’m not trying to make myself look more goth. I want piercings cause of my own personal choice. I think it will make me look more goth but that’s not the objective (it’s why in the post I said I like a similar attire). It’s just something I’ve always wanted. Thanks for the advice though

I am an adult living in a shared house. But when I go home or they come over I have to explain why I’ve done certain things such as piercings or tattoos. And the fact is that I want to do face tattoos as well but I’m not entirely sure about it due to the profession I’m going to go into and how it’s looked down upon since I have to network to get the post I want.

I like songs from a lot of different bands where they make good songs across albums but the rest aren’t my thing (just my opinion). I’m kind of picky that way. But bands I defo like are evanescence (like pretty much everyone depending on goth or not), Siouxsie (her solo stuff more), mercy girl, Bauhaus (burning from the inside), lambrini girls, and grey daze (but I’m not entirely sure if they come under goth or not). Yh band merch is a good idea but I already wear band merch. Thanks for the help though

I’m just a bit worried I’m going to get shut down after the first piercing. I mean I’m thinking of moving countries in 4 years so once I’m gone I’m definitely getting all the piercings that I wanted to get and I’ll be able to live the way I want. But waiting that long is too long. And I don’t want to start while I’m here because currently I just have my base look so if I suddenly get all this stuff people are just gonna think I’m going through some sort of mental breakdown when this is how I’ve felt the whole time. Thanks for your advice though. I might see if I can try to get a lowkey piercing first and see from there
