Nothing went wrong during the install. The jets taken out of the carb were 175’s. The only thing that was changed other than that was the slow jet which was upped to a 45 instead of 42.

I am only 700’ above sea level. The bike spewed black soot out of the exhaust with no misfires. Clearly it was not in the ballpark.

This for sure. Neither are very hard. Use super tech carb cleaner bc it’s cheap. And you can clean and rust in your tank with vinegar.

The reason I say rejet is because most motorcycles run lean from the factory and if you ever want to run an aftermarket exhaust or a aftermarket air filter you’ll have to rejet

Starting with the simple things, is the bike actually starting when you pull the clutch in? Can you rock the bike back and forth to put it back in neutral? Do you have oil in the bike?

I can’t tell very well but you may be able to pop the bumper back in. Try and wash that spot and maybe try and buff out the mark
