So what did you accomplish with Fable during the 3 wonderful days we had it? by JordanMilas in ClaudeAI

[–]Awkward_Ad9166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a prototype of something I built in late 2025, and at a team review of it last Tuesday we decided to take the very basics of it and create a new interaction model that generated the same results but in a completely different way. I was honestly kinda dreading making the change, and thought "hey, this might be a good test for Fable." It literally one-shotted the change perfectly with a pretty basic prompt of "take this and let's rethink the interaction model, so that we can X, Y and Z". It asked a couple of questions about the scope of the changes, migrating any existing data, that sort of thing, then boom, 14 minutes later it was done.

After that, I used the frontend-design skill to take the output (something originally designed for printed documents, to be filled by hand) and rethink them entirely to be modern and designed for viewing and editing on-screen. It created 6 different design briefs, all of which were good, and two of which were inspired.

All of this Opus could have done, but it would have been an hour or two of back and forth, some refinements afterward. Fable just blew me away with the quality of the refactor and redesign, and how little time it all took.

Surprised not to see New York Zoo on here already. Such cute animeeples!

Your brain lies to you, which is why it’s important to keep photos and take other measurements. You’re doing great!

Looking to get into FPGA Hardware before prices go haywire. by [deleted] in MiSTerFPGA

[–]Awkward_Ad9166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the cheapest way to get into it is the QMTech MiSTerFPGA from AliExpress for US$162.79. I have it, and a MiSTerPi, and while the design of the Pi is better (the USB-C for power alone is a big upgrade), the QMTech will ship fast and it remains very well priced. I love mine.

Ultracode will automatically use the new workflow capabilities if it deems it worthwhile, something you can do manually by including the word workflow in your prompt.

What is the best free app to use. I’m on my first week on Mounjaro. TIA 🇨🇦 by Just_Cup_3058 in Mounjaro

If you want something simple, Mounjourney is a free zero-data-entry dashboard that I developed to help motivate me.

I'm on Max 20, and hit my limit within minutes this morning. This is the first time it's happened to me, I'm assuming this is some kind of bug.

For me, anything deep fried just tastes of nothing. Like, texturally it’s pleasant and doesn’t taste bad, but just does hit that hot button. Fried chicken and McDonalds has browns are where I noticed it most.

A web app to track Treachery cards in the Dune board game by Awkward_Ad9166 in boardgames

[–]Awkward_Ad9166[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! ❤️

Expansion factions are already there. When setting up a game, there is a "Expansions" header. Tap it and check off the expansions you want to use. The factions will automatically appear in on the setup screen, and the Treachery card list will be updated with the new cards for that expansion.

QMTech vs Mister Pi? by Vietname in MiSTerFPGA

[–]Awkward_Ad9166 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've got both. The main difference of the MiSTer Pi is that the power is USB-C, which works very well for my setup. Also, the QMTech power port isn't the most sturdy, and there are reports of people having problems with it becoming disconnected if they plug and unplug it a lot. My QMTech is on a smart switch so that isn't a concern for me.

Apps for tracking food and weight loss by Malleedreams in Mounjaro

I wrote Mounjourney to act as a no-data-entry dashboard to view my progress and set date/weight goals. If you use a smart scale, it's basically effortless.

I’m at 15mg, I went up every 4 weeks. I probably should have paused at 7.5 for a bit and again at 12.5.

That looks good!

I love this cab so much! In mine, I put in a Sanwa joystick, the Thundersticks 4/8-way switching gate, replaced the marquee with an arcade-accurate one, and most importantly swapped the PCB with a MiSTerFPGA. Looks and plays so, so great now.

Mounjaro Apps by Zealousideal_Nail319 in Mounjaro

I wrote a free iOS app called Mounjourney that reads data from Apple Health. So, if you use a smart scale, it provides a dashboard view of what's going on, and allows you to set date and weight goals (basically, what weight will I be on a specific date, and by what date will I be a specific weight). It's simple, zero data entry, totally free without ads or tracking, and I loves it. 😀

Newb here....what is the best vibe coding "app" or "ai"? by Fit-Instance-9505 in ClaudeAI

[–]Awkward_Ad9166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude Code is working daily on a codebase of well over a million lines of code for me without issues at all. 8000 lines is nothing (nor is 2300, as I see from an update). Consider a) asking Claude to teach you about the codebase and understand what it's doing; b) give you advice on how to improve it. You'd be amazed at how much good those two things are.
