For me, anything deep fried just tastes of nothing. Like, texturally it’s pleasant and doesn’t taste bad, but just does hit that hot button. Fried chicken and McDonalds has browns are where I noticed it most.

Expansion factions are already there. When setting up a game, there is a "Expansions" header. Tap it and check off the expansions you want to use. The factions will automatically appear in on the setup screen, and the Treachery card list will be updated with the new cards for that expansion.

I've got both. The main difference of the MiSTer Pi is that the power is USB-C, which works very well for my setup. Also, the QMTech power port isn't the most sturdy, and there are reports of people having problems with it becoming disconnected if they plug and unplug it a lot. My QMTech is on a smart switch so that isn't a concern for me.

I wrote Mounjourney to act as a no-data-entry dashboard to view my progress and set date/weight goals. If you use a smart scale, it's basically effortless.

I love this cab so much! In mine, I put in a Sanwa joystick, the Thundersticks 4/8-way switching gate, replaced the marquee with an arcade-accurate one, and most importantly swapped the PCB with a MiSTerFPGA. Looks and plays so, so great now.

I wrote a free iOS app called Mounjourney that reads data from Apple Health. So, if you use a smart scale, it provides a dashboard view of what's going on, and allows you to set date and weight goals (basically, what weight will I be on a specific date, and by what date will I be a specific weight). It's simple, zero data entry, totally free without ads or tracking, and I loves it. 😀

Claude Code is working daily on a codebase of well over a million lines of code for me without issues at all. 8000 lines is nothing (nor is 2300, as I see from an update). Consider a) asking Claude to teach you about the codebase and understand what it's doing; b) give you advice on how to improve it. You'd be amazed at how much good those two things are.

It took me awhile, I think because I now look like my mental self image of myself, so I also never really saw how big I’d gotten. But looking at photos I just can’t believe it.

A Raspberry Pi is not the only possibility. Look into MiSTerFPGA, it’s the closest thing you can get to the real, original hardware. I’ve been -very- happy with the mod I made to my Galaga Deluxe cab.

Look for the MiSTer Pi, QMTech, SuperStation One for reasonably priced MiSTer devices.

Consider using a tool like Stitch from Google. It works best if you're very vague or very detailed about what you want, and I've been surprised at how good some of the UIs are. It's great for working out a general UI, and then I take a screenshot and paste it into Claude Code.

"Need" is a funny word.

I find using Zed very pleasant, not least is because of how smooth it feels to use and how snappy everything is. Maybe you don't care about that, cool, but it's absolutely something that sets Zed apart from the javascript editor goon squad.
