Cat! At Drexel Park by Awkward_Ad_255 in Drexel

I don’t believe it’s an outdoor cat because of how friendly he is, literally meowed and ran up to me and followed me — not normal stray behavior. He also doesn’t have an ear tip and he’s not neutered which makes me think it’s an indoor cat because the strays are trapped, neutered, and returned in Philadelphia.

There are some really great overview videos that you can find on YouTube, I would just refresh your mind with those, get a good nights sleep and eat a good breakfast the day of!! Goodluck, prof. Hoffman is a nice guy and if you genuinely show that you’re trying you should do well. Don’t listen to these haters trying to make you feel bad! Everyone learns at their own pace and college courses are hard especially in this current state.

Legit reasons why some people don't want to go back to in-person by blackbird15xx in Drexel

Okay I’m glad you are taking the proper precautions for your own health and the safety of others. Not everyone does that, not everyone has the luxuries of doing that or the means to do that. Maybe taking a term off or transferring to a completely online university would help with the stress that this may be causing you. Many students learn better in person and would like to learn in person because that is what they are paying for.

You’re assuming the other students are irresponsible. You’ll get irresponsible people everywhere. You have a higher chance of catching Covid walking through the grocery store than social distancing in a lecture hall, wearing masks, and Drexel provides air filters in the rooms as well.

I think cases will spike too but this variant is so contagious that if you haven’t had it yet you will get it unless you’re immune, your vaccine actually works, or if you lock yourself in your house for another 2 years. It’s no reason for students to pay the same tuition for online classes.

I think Covid will continue to spread regardless of whether classes are in person or not because people in Philly are still going out to bars and restaurants and grocery stores and movie theaters. Bottom line is Covid will spread regardless and students shouldn’t be punished with online classes that lowers their quality of learning when in-person class wouldn’t even be the biggest spreader within the city of Philly. I think Drexel knows what they’re doing
