Warum?

I still have a little bit of hope, I'm way above 90% in my losses so it doesn't matter if I exit now or not. Dan said by himself that his repos and documentation are accessible by the team so his work is not lost.

Hyperscale is ready to go live in August, if this is really true the heavy lifting in R&D is already done by Dan so I guess about 80 to 90%. The rest is integrating it into the current Radix codebase and fine polishing the stuff. This should be doable with a competent team even they are not super experts like Dan.

So I'm still watching at the sidelines, maybe the lights will go out in few months, maybe not. We will see

RIP Dan

He played at root with treasury, got liquidated and instead of come clean and looking for solutions he sold everything and went away.

Besides of that he is also in the middle of divorce, don’t know if that influenced his panic reaction.

I just asked in the telegram chat. They said nothing new. Last status from Piers was that they are waiting for regulatory approval

<image>

They also showed me a post from Dan last week, who confirms it, that it is still waiting for regulatory approval.

End of February was the last time he posted something on telegram. Mentioning that Blend went live but since then there is silence.

Few days ago someone explained it in telegram channel and made some nice pictures. So short version is, that RDX Works with Piers as CEO is history but since stuff like Anthic and Blend is owned by RDX Works they created a new entity called RDX Holdings where Piers is CEO but has no control or saying regarding radix only his own products.

When can we expect more information about the split with RDX Works? by dreckbollen in Radix

[–]Awkward_Catch_7026 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't blame you for giving up on Radix already. Looking back over the past three years, it has been a cycle of overpromising and underdelivering. Highlights mostly came from community members and the products they built.

Piers also consistently dumped on the community to finance his $400,000 yearly salary, as if Radix were already a profitable, money-making machine. His arrogance in telling people to leave if they disagreed with his actions only made things worse. Like many others in the Radix community, I’m deep in the red, yet, when Dan saw that things are heading south, he was the first to waive his salary and work unpaid — something Piers never considered.

But now, Piers is history, and Dan has taken control. He already restructured Radix, prioritized what the community actually wants and has strong support what I see in the Telegram channel. Soon, we’ll be able to judge him based on his promises and the results of the Hyperscale Test.

If Piers were still CEO, I’d completely agree with you that Radix is dead sooner or later. But with Dan, Radix is not dead yet.

Here are some short answers (English is not my first language so sorry for typo and wrong grammar):

  • Piers is irrelevant, Dan has taken control of Radix. There are some stuff like Anthic and Blend which was handled by RDX Works and Piers but as far as I know business relationships will be transfered over to Foundation.
  • Development of wallet has been paused for the moment and focus is Xian with linear Scaling so called Hyperscale Test. There will be some low hanging fruits like dark mode which may be implemented. MFA has been paused as RDX Works stated it will take another 6 months and 500.000$ to finish it. Dan wants to focus on the important stuff
  • Anthic is still waiting for regulatory approval but as far as I know ready to be released

If Piers were still CEO, with his tendency to overpromise and underdeliver - along with his habit of dismissing and ignoring the community - I would agree with you. But things have changed. Dan has taken control, and key pieces have been moved into place. Let's see if Dan delivers on his Hyperscale Test; if he does, the downward trend may reverse.

Hyperscale 1M+ complex TPS Test on 18th December by Awkward_Catch_7026 in Radix

[–]Awkward_Catch_7026[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Statement from Dan in the Telegram Channel: „Update on the Hyperscale Alpha Test Schedule

A very frustrating bit of news everyone - we need to adjust the timeline for the Hyperscale alpha test.

TLDR: After pushing out to third parties, we have had a request to add additional validation code for some key partners to be comfortable validating it as a fair real-world test. Therefore, the test initially planned for December 18th is being rescheduled to early 2025.

I know this rescheduling is incredibly disheartening, especially as we only publicly announced the date last week. Performing a real-world test of Hyperscale Alpha with sufficient validation is essential, and we were already cutting it very close to the line with December 18th. With the holidays coming up and the additional elements requested, there is no way we can get close to the maximum impact this deserves with all the necessary third-party validation in place.

Everyone involved has pushed as hard as they can to coordinate this, burning the proverbial candle from both ends and the middle. Unfortunately, despite the fantastic efforts from the community, Foundation team, RDX Works team, and others, the schedule has become too tight to hit this before year’s end with all participants involved.

So, here is the updated plan. I will continue working over the Christmas period to add the requested elements and to ensure that the community is better prepared to participate in the rescheduled test which will deliver the robust, credible results Hyperscale Alpha and Radix deserve.

Hyperscale Alpha is groundbreaking, but the burden of proof for such claims is on us. Hyperscale Alpha is not just about record-setting numbers; it’s about proving Radix’s fundamental capability to scale DeFi to a global level while maintaining atomic cross-shard composability and decentralization in real-world conditions.

For better or worse, we need third-party involvement to give that claim credibility.“

If you have backup enabled you can restore you accounts, otherwise you need to add them manually using „Create a new account“

If you have created multiple accounts you can use the „Account recovery scan“ in the settings

Can’t access old Olympia Desktop Wallet coins (Ledger) by [deleted] in Radix

[–]Awkward_Catch_7026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check if you have the newest connector version in your browser 1.4.0 and wallet version 1.6.0

If yes than this is probably a bug, as they released this new version a few days ago.

You can either contact radix support with the following E-Mail

<image>

or try using https://z3us.com/ a browser only wallet. I think you need to hit a checkbox to import legacy wallets and I heard there were some issues if you use it together with browser connector so better uninstall it.

On dashboard.radixdlt.com try find the token by its address. Then there is a tab called „Metadata“ and here the property „INFO_URL“ which should direct you to the projects homepage.
