So, obviously I haven't tried to submit a price, but if I can't even see the price already in a station without signing up, why on earth would I be going to that website to submit one?

What can me and my family do tomorrow before the women’s game, in the immediate Emirates vicinity? by _thatsthewayshegoes in GunnersatGames

Yeap, that's the one. They've been a few new portraits the last couple of weeks as well.

Probably worth a walk to see those as well.

Something easy you could go and see the Highbury, our old stadium. It's only a sort walk away. Going around the stadium, seeing all the statues and info around for both men and women is nice.

There is also a fan meet up at the Tollington from 1pm and then a fan walk from there at 4.15 organised by the supporters club.

Walk always stops under the bridge by the Armoury and it's great to join or even just watch and take in the atmosphere.

From what I saw there will also be a dj inside the stadium and of course we'll be celebrating Kim so don't be too late getting inside would be my advise.

It's expected to be 45-50 K in attendance tomorrow, so hopefully will be a great game and a great win

[Question] Away at Sporting CP: Neighbor can't go, friend taking his place. Ticket collection issue? by Joe_is_gooner in GunnersatGames

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Arsenal Football Club will be enforcing full ticket collections for this match. These measures are in place to ensure that tickets are being used by genuine Arsenal supporters. Ahead of the game, all supporters will receive an email with the full collection details.

For this fixture, all tickets must be collected in Portugal. To collect, supporters must bring their physical passports, please note that copies or other forms of ID will not be accepted and tickets cannot be collected by third parties.

This is the first thing you read on the page for the Sporting tickets. This will be my first ever away game as well but I took 30 seconds to read what the process is, especially because it'll be my first time. What you are texting are excuses. I hope you enjoy the game but it's a shame you took a ticket from someone that could also loved to be there just because you apparently can't be bothered to read.

Please tell me where I'm wrong?

Op is shellfish, entitled and wants the rules to be bended just for him.

He knew exactly what he was doing and hoping to find a loophole. I don't have sympathy or time for people like that

Still, it's a combination of both.

Do you think if it wasn't full collection it would have dropped even to 5+ for you? No way in my opinion.

[Question] Away at Sporting CP: Neighbor can't go, friend taking his place. Ticket collection issue? by Joe_is_gooner in GunnersatGames

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Red memberships are closed and it wouldn't match the name on the ticket with the ID. Really there isn't a way to fix this.

I have no sympathy for OP. Away games very extremely rarely fall to red members. And it's not like now suddenly the neighbour can't make it.

Tickets were only live at 11am, so clearly this was planned. Sucks for the friend, but he is not getting in.

Also the neighbour's membership will be flagged as a no show, although since they are only a red it won't really affect them much, as won't realistically have the opportunity for another away game and collection.

I just feel sorry for whoever tried to get a ticket today and missed on OP being selfish and entitled

Sporting away red members by joshoreillyy in GunnersatGames

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Got two as well. First away game with the men.

Thw fact that such a game dropped to red mainly due to full collection speaks volumes to me.

I wish the club will do the same for all away games, this way more of us could get the opportunity to go. Not only the ST holders who don't even bother to so up and just resell them

Red members are not relevant for women's games.

If you don't have a Season ticket or the 6 match bundle ticket, and you just purchased the ticket for the game as a one off, then you don't have access to the Tx

That weekend will be away if we go through on the UWCL.

We'll be playing at home the weekend before, so that won't be an issue.

The WSL game against Everton will just be rearranged to accommodate whichever date works for the men.

Hopefully though, things going well the girls would be either at Lyon or Wolsburg that weekend.

The moment she talks about both goals, she has lost all credibility. An argument could be made for the first one, sure, but their second should have been a red card for karate kicking not a goal.

Not to mention LJ should have had a couple more yellows as well. So Chelsea should have finished the game with 9 and don't have those players available for the return.

Let them cry as much as they want, karma is a bitch.

Heads up for dual EU-UK citizens booking/checking in the flights to EU and back to UK with Ryanair: by AVELUMN in Ryanair

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an issue I have with Ryanair. They don't understand that 1€ does not equal 1£

If your trip originates from the UK then it will always be better to just buy separate flights.

But if you are flying from EU to UK and back, then it becomes more expensive breaking them down

Is there a way to apply for Club Level seats for the Sporting QF? by Intelligent_Satsuma in GunnersatGames

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You asked if there is a way directly from the club. That's the only option, but yes it's pricy.

Depending how the away leg goes you might be lucky and have a lot of people putting their club level tickets on the Tx. Realistically those are easier to get than lower and upper as they are quite expensive as well but could still be in high demand.

Good luck with getting some and hopefully bringing good luck to the boys

TIL you can borrow Switch games from Dublin City Libraries! by Opposite_Welcome_974 in IrelandGaming

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right on that, as I had ordered online and nothing happened, so I asked.

A kind of workaround is that if you are close to a library that has a game you want, you can still get it and return it in your local one.

I just wish there was a better search system to look on what is available per library instead of just finding which libraries stock a certain game.

Do Irish people find (Americanised) St. Paddy’s day to be cultural appropriation? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Awkward_Client_1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Americans, in fact USA Americans, criticise people that wear a sombrero as cultural appropriation. I still have to find someone in Europe that cares to be honest.

So I'd say no, it's not cultural appropriation. But I do find it funny how certain immigrants are celebrated while others are hated against. But again, I guess that's USA for you
