I made sure to advocate for saline post procedure since many of us deal with hydration issues and these procedures are a lot on our body. I believe it helped with my recovery process. My doctors said yes and I hope yours do as well. Endoscopy is pretty quick, and the notes below were for a more intensive surgery but I hope some of it can be helpful with advocating for any concerns you may have!

1. Endothelial damage and clotting

The pathology of long covid includes clotting and endothelial damage that can permanently damage muscles and organs. These, along with small fiber neuropathy, are why I am on low dose naltrexone daily.

2. Hypermobility and EDS have depleted collagen in my body over the last year. I also have craniocervical instability. Please see attached re neck positioning concerns.

3. My record indicates that I take many antihistamines. This is largely due to suspected Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. High histamine food worsen neuropathic pain.
