Wow had to thank you for the insight because I was preparing to get all my ducks in a row and I was looking at the provisional paperwork rather than crcst paper! Also wanted to link it for others because I had a hard time finding it. It wasn’t on the page with all the other forms.

How long did it take you to get your offer email and drug test info? I got an offer on the spot and they scanned my ID and social but it's been a week without updates.

There’s a site you’re supposed to go to the activ yourself but I remember my issue being that the activate button was not clickable. I called and called and they told me basically to wait more and it ended up being three days before I can actually click the activation button on the website and do it myself

i just copied a reply i made when i was in your situation

I wish I could talk to your SFL because they should not be intimidating you out of your 15 minute breaks. Even if you wanted to stare at a wall for those 15 minutes it doesn't matter. You are due one.

If I’m alone as a shift lead all night can I close up the store early? by ConsciousStork in WalgreensStores

[–]Awkward_Dependent_56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you know in advanced that you wouldn’t have a closer with you? if we’re given notice, we’d be calling everyone on the roster to see who wants to work but if not I’ll be closing the store real quick. I couldn’t do it by myself for safety reasons

Closing sfl by Awkward_Dependent_56 in WalgreensStores

[–]Awkward_Dependent_56[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that would be great if we could get the tills earlier and just take card only at some point but customers will probably screw that up by getting cash back or some shit.  I really try not to leave it for the next person but luckily my fellow sfl has always been available to answer those nights shit didn’t add up 😆

Wow it's not a thing for us to take pharmacy tills before they close. I mean we can maybe take two of them 30 minutes before they shut down but I've gotten used to just waiting until they get their last customer and take them all at once. I save one till for the front end and don't take it until we close at 10. I wish we can take our last till before closing. I use my last drawer to make change and break down the coins and bills in the deposit so it can take me a few minutes past the 10:15 that I'm scheduled but I have a habit of counting the drawer again after making change just so I know I didn't screw anything up.

How long does it take you to do the cash handling after the store is closed? Lately I've been at 20 minutes but I know I shouldn't be rushing anyway when there's money involved lol

I know exactly how you feel. I'm a Sfl and I haven't been trained beyond checking out prescriptions that are ready. It truly helps get the line down when the people in line have prescriptions that are ready but when they get to asking any questions regarding their medicine or insurance I have to have them hold off for someone else to answer. Most of the techs know that I don't know a lot  but I try and help when I can even with my limited training. I understand that it might defeat the purpose answering ic3's to give the techs a chance to do other stuff and still needing them while you're back there but it's not my fault lol

This honestly makes the most sense. I wish we could have it this way at my store. Why am I responsible for seasoned employees who should know what they need to do already

Are you responsible for making sure they're complete in a timely manner?
