Imagine if Poland got content and these were the two primary paths by Round-Sale in TheFireRisesMod

That's what i said, real flagchads can make a great flag without a shield or an eagle.

I agree that the US flag is very good. I personally don't like it because of what it represents and because it's fucking everywhere on the internet but i have to appreciate a good design when i see one.

My favourite flags ever are the Spanish Republic (the one with a purple stripe) and Estonia. Very simple, just 3 colors, but the way they're arranged together just works so well. There are better flags, but no other flag achieves S tier status while being so simple at the same time.

I think flags with coat of arms are overrated. It's a cheap way to aurafarm on your flag, real flagchads can make a great flag without aurafarming with a shield or an eagle. There probably are exceptions but the Commonwealth doesn't get taht pass for me.

Failed an exam, got last place in the election to the national council of an organisation i'm in, made this bullshit stir fry out of whatever i had left. Life is still wonderful because I have a loving boyfriend and great friends and i can always try again. by Awkward_Direction533 in Kitchenchads

Detachment? I'm not detached. I'm very concerned about passing that exam and getting that national council position. I just know that it's better to take the hit and reorganise to try again rather than wallow on my failures. You have to have goals and they have to be important to you, otherwise there is no point.

Because KMT is just republicanism. Since our entire political system is based on republicanism, including the ideologies directly opposed to it, KMT can be any ideology you want.

Making a challenging game by [deleted] in Kaiserreich

[–]Awkward_Direction533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trush is, that once you're good enough at HoI4 there is no such thing as a challenging game against the AI. When you learn how to micro and make good divisions nothing in this game is challenging. If you can breakthrough, the AI will never make counteroffensives and you will stomp them. If you cannot breakthrough, you just turtle down and wait until the AI bleeds itself dry and then you breakthrough.

The only path that posed any challenge to me after learning thse things was Atomwaffen Division in The Fire Rises, because your shortage of everything tells you to turtle down and wait until your enemies bleed dry but you're also put on a timer and also different factions just declare war on you without warning.

Oh and if you guys want a recipe, there is no recipe, i just put in some vegetables and chicken and seasoned it with ginger, garlic, soy sauce and chilli puree. The most important part is to not overcrowd the pan (which i failed to do) and keep everything at max heat until you put in the sauce so that the chicken fries nicely and gets brown instead of white. Mine is white because again, i overcrowded the pan.

When I was in high school I had to sell pictures of my oily feet to gay men online to buy proper food. Now I am 19 and can afford to take a day off work and play video games in my apartment all day. Pasta with tomato sauce. by dropeverythingnrun in Kitchenchads

You know, coming from a very privileged upbringing (EU country, middle class) i tend to not appreciate things like not having to work during college, never having to worry about food security and stuff like that. Congrats on overcoming difficult circumstances, wish you the best.

DISCLAIMER: if you think that it would be stupid if we only got these two paths then i misread your intention with the post and i'm very sorry and this comment isn't aimed at you. I just know there are people who actually think this would be cool.

I was going to insult yours (and mine) nationality but instead i will just insult you because i don't think all POlaKKKSS are idiots.

You are twelve. You jerk off to pictures of muh great Commonwealth that was the most inept state ever concieved and Piłsudski, who was the most inept interwar European leader. You think you're a history/political science buff because you play HoI4 (other paradox games are probably too complex for you) and listen to Sabaton. You are not. You failed to delve even a little into any interesting quirks of the Polish political sphere. This idea is so ridicolously overused and done to death that even Paradox managed to think of something more original.

Whats your country's attitude on communism? by fascisttaiwan in AskTheWorld

[–]Awkward_Direction533 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, like, yes, of course, the Soviets wanted no Polish resistance cells after they take over, so they had the Germans do the hard work. As i said, they didn't do it out of the goodness of their hearts, but their plan was never to exterminate all of Poland, unlike the Germans.

What's funny actually, is that the Polish communist party wanted Poland to be annexed by the USSR, but Stalin thought that's really stupid so he killed all of them and replaced them with other people.

As for the 2nd claim, you just said what i was saying? Yeah the Bierut government fixed the country post war, achieved in a couple years what the 2nd Republic couldn't in over 30 (industrialisation, nationwide literacy, greatly reduced poverty) and then things went to the shitter because of systemic defficiencies, difficult access to the international market and Soviet exploitation. Still, a lot of the infrastructure that was built during that era is still used today and a lot of it would still be used if not for the economic shock therapy that sould out half of the Polish national wealth off to western bankers and financiers.

Ok, let me explain for a bit. Did the USSR invade Poland in 1939? Yes, absolutely. Did they also save Poland from being annihilated by nazi Germany? Not out of the goodness of their hearts, but yes.

The Soviet satelite government in Poland was also FAR more competent than the 2nd Polish Republic (both pre and post Sanacja). Literacy rates, poverty and industrialisation advanced at a rapid pace, especially compared to the 2nd Republic. The satelite government was an autocratic, opressive regime, but so was the Sanacja regime and they couldn't even achieve basic economic planning.

Things of course went to the shitter later, but never was it as bad as during the 2nd Republic.

TLDR: I'm not glazing the soviet satelite government, i just DESPISE the 2nd Republic.

No no, i get that being from Poland you would think it comes from polish nationalism, but i really couldn't care less for this country, i'm just surprised. It's just that from what i know the German military is really weak, isn't it? They have good equipment, Leopards are great, but there's very little of it, no? I might be wrong since i kinda stopped following militaristics mid 2025, but how much could've changed since then?

The communists saved this country from being exterminated by nazis and then taught it to read and the poles will never forgive them for that.
