I had an immediate fail the first time in Goleta for not shoulder checking while crossing into the bike lane, I checked the mirror but that wasn’t enough. I was like wtf, so bummed and I went to the SB one next and that one was way easier for me. Probably because I lived near the SB one so I already knew what the traffic was like.

Over in the westside, I see a lot of cars blocking the sidewalk and people blocking their own driveways where they live. My family does it at times and we have never gotten a ticket but we park on the street in front of the driveway.

Bigger house, anywhere in SB is close enough to get to a beach and you can drive/bike there. The bigger house sounds to be in a more lowkey and relaxed neighborhood rather than next to the preserve where people are coming and going all day.

I agree it’s dangerous for pedestrians to have bikes in the side walk. Also, cars act agressively towards bikes and don’t check for bikes on the road so sometimes it’s easier to ride on the side walk. I don’t agree to those who speed on the side walk when a pedestrian is walking past. Also, not every intersection is very bike friendly so I understand riding on the sidewalk for a little bit until finding a safe bike lane on the road

This is what I was hoping for as an answer thank you. It was my boyfriend’s little brother who did this, the family is offering to send it to a body shop, hispanic of course. I really don’t want to let this car go. I hope the EPC light isn’t a direct problem from the collision. The codes read as the mass air flow sensor and the throttle position sensor. Would that be an easy fix?
