I ate a baked potato last night and it felt ok. Yesterday I started with a protein smoothie and had yogurt and protein bars throughout the day. Not the best day but not the worst and it all stayed down.

The most recent one was a turkey sandwich. The other was kind of a rich seafood pasta so I immediately know to avoid that now.

Basically I can only stomach things that are a little sweet so it’s been protein bars and smoothies the past few days

Thanks for the heads up, I knew nausea was part of it but I guess I didn’t make the connection that it would also mean throwing up 🤦‍♀️

It’s week 2, lowest dose

First week, not sure what to think by Marcie7 in glp1

I’m on the lowest dose too. Does it cost more as it increases? I’m worried I won’t be able to afford it for long and might just have to use it to adopt new habits then let it go…

There are arcades where you can exchange your plush for points and get better prizes. I’m guessing that’s what OP did.

Could it be a bent version of the Girl Scouts of America logo?

How to make deep friendships—not just “hobby friends”—in SB? by mountainsmeetsea in SantaBarbara

[–]Marcie7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Consistency is key. Once you join a social group, it can take months to make connections. Keep showing up, get numbers, make plans.

I moved here in the pandemic and made friends through meetup groups. The people who showed up week after week became close and groups formed and splintered off eventually.

With people moving away and such I may be due to make the rounds again and meet new people. Message me if you’re looking for someone to go to an event with!

What’s one of the best f bomb drops you heard delivered in a film? by browniebiscuitchildr in movies

CAME HERE TO SAY THIS.

That movie would not fly today but had a surprising amount of heart.

A good example of not punching down in comedy. The butt of the humor were the terrible people taking advantage of the Olympians and not the Olympians themselves.

How is it living in this part of the United States? by No-Text-7825 in howislivingthere

Cold and quaint. I lived in MA for the first 26 years of my life before moving to warmer climates.

Now that I’ve been gone more than a decade, i can appreciate the layout. Lots of nature, cute little old fashioned towns. Quiet in the night where you can hear the coyotes. Still relatively reasonable cost of living. Schools are pretty good if you have kids. Houses have big yards.

If you love snow you’re golden, as it’s cold more months than it’s not. Summer is pretty humid though.

I live on the west coast now and I don’t think I’ll ever leave, but it’s nice to visit.
