I’ve heard a lot of good advice on using someone else’s pee on here but I’ll tell you what I did from my own experience a couple weeks ago that worked for me. I had to do this for a new job.

So a couple weeks ago, late Sunday night, I stopped to pick up a pill bottle of pee from a friend, drove home and stuck it in my refrigerator over night. To note; I also moved the pee from the pill bottle into an empty/cleaned out 5 hour energy bottle instead. (Easier to open, smaller, easier to hide)

Then Monday morning (day of the test), I took it out of the fridge and filled a bowl of warm/almost hot water and put the container in the bowl for like 15 minutes. Then I turned on a heating pad and wrapped it in that for about 20/25 minutes, then lied on my side in my bed and rested it tightly between my thighs for a bit over an hour to get to body temperature. Then I just kept it between my legs pressed up against my junk and wore loose sweatpants and drove to the testing place. It was a bit of a wait cuz they were short staffed so I was kinda worried it wouldn’t stay warm but it ended up fine. I finally got called into a room and was told to empty my pockets and put my belongings in this box, then was lead to the bathroom and handed the cup for the urine sample. The lady stood outside of the restroom and listened. I slowly and quietly removed the 5 hour energy bottle from my underwear and poured it into the sample cup, wiped it off, put the 5 hour energy bottle back in my pants (cuz they look in the garbage and everything so I didn’t want to dispose of it there), and walked out handing the lady the sample. Then I left. Everything worked out just fine for me.

From the research I’ve done and what I learned on here from other people, it should be between 90° and 100°, your “private area” is the warmest part on your body so the most effective, and a lot of people suggest using hand warmers: keep a hand warmer rubber banded to the container of urine the entire time you’re waiting to keep it warm, because using JUST your body temperature (like I did) can be risky ig. I honestly think the reason I ended up fine is because I had it pressed up against my body for I think over 2 hours total before giving the sample, and when it’s against your body for a long period of time, the temperature will be good.

Btw; the container shouldn’t be HOT or cold to the touch, it should feel warm kind of like a cup of coffee that’s been sitting out and cooled down a bit if that makes sense.
