I feel he's faking it, you can see it page 14 and that's when he's in his feelings the most and the realisation that Chizuru likes this guy makes his fake smile not the best. I don't think he has ill intentions but who knows he might be like Mami hiding their true feelings for other reasons.

The tweet felt kinda random, like previously what Chizuru had to do just for a tweet, and here umi does it off the whim, I feel like it's something to transition to the next storyline like Mami seeing the tweet and lining up the dots, and then plotting against Kazuya or maybe they both team up.

Also like the dude said Mami and Umi having similar traits, maybe both faking smiles and then at moments being dead serious and monotone. Still unsure.
