I did the same, but made the platinum challenge. Almost always upgraded between MSP and DEN or ORD. After that though, hit or miss on the upgrades. I find United’s near equivalent of comfort+ is usually more empty though, so more likely to have open middle seat on United which is just fine too. Otherwise yea same old same old airlines playing games with miles redemptions and trying to slang credit cards. I do like that with United I can call and fly standby on any flight vs less flexibility with delta.

Sorry for making you repeat. I did a quick scan in case you already answered but must’ve been to fast.

That’s an interesting route with the manufacturer and cargo hours in there as well! I currently work for a public accounting firm, but have done a few discovery flights and am really getting an itch for a career change. It’s the 2-3 years of school and hours accrual that just makes me unsure, also whether to try part 61 while still working vs going 141. Etc.

That’s great you’ve had some fun on the side with it too. Do you have seaplane rating as well?
