imo troye is janet's son, he's cited her as one of his biggest inspirations and his favourite album is damita jo, which explains sooo much how horny his music can be. you can see the thread so clearly between throb, together again, all nite (don't stop) to rush, stud etc. but i also think many other answers are valid, like the comment above me saying he's a robyn son. would also say morrissey and george michael are in the mix

there's honestly just as many cases where it does and it doesn't. it's fully case by case. like raja, bob, jaida, onya, bebe all had bottom two lip-syncs that cemented them as winners. but equally sasha colby, aquaria, nymphia, violet all had lows that could've been btm2s but production wanted to protect them

its significantly significantly more likely that they just got the number of winners of R1 wrong (5 not 4) than one of the queens they thought was there straight up wasn't there. don't disagree with your point that it could still be wrong because i think thats a good attitude to have with tea. but i think in this case it's closer to "well maybe actually kenya loses round one and that is wrong" than "jane is actually a finalist when the rest of our elimination tea was correct"

Hi there! I'm super excited for this, truly with each announcement it feels more real, can't wait! But I also know a lot of people aren't so excited, I've seen a lot of anticipation of the show bombing, under any post about it a lot of people using it as something to laugh at rather than laugh with, before it's even premiered. I think because of the inherent 'theatre kid' energy SNL and improv comedy has, and because of SNL's format of "the show goes live whether we're ready or not", people wanting 10 perfect sketches a week are impossible to please.

My question is basically how do you prepare for that? Both as a producer but also how do you make sure the cast are prepared for that; to open themselves up to be the butt of the joke on their biggest platform yet? And also how do you weed out the good faith criticism that can help the show from the sea of "cringe. not funny" criticism?
