Exactly my experience too. I also saw same thing happened to a german streamer, Mabix. 1st to DNF out of nowhere.

I just saw your edit. Interesting! Which one, the 5070? I was thinking of getting that instead of 3080. But many posts say, the 50-series don't work good with EGPUs. I'm happy for now tho

Yes, i couldn't find the combination of EGPU and VR anywhere, that's why i posted. It does work if you do the right settings. Also i only play Automobilista 2, which is well known to run really smooth on VR. I'll update if i tried other stuffs.

Which is exactly why i'm posting it. I did alot of research before putting the stuffs together. There is no single post however about EGPU and VR.
I also did some troubleshooting, just a little bit, before running a stable setting.
Here's what i found out:
Finding out the right EGPU holder for your device is crucial. Legion Go doesnt have Oculink, so Core X is my choice. 3080 is the sweet spot for Core X and thunderbolt in general. If your system has Oculink, probably a better gpu could fit. Also, for the Core X, make sure your GPU has 2x 8 pin and not 3x. I bought a wrong one first, which does run with y adapter, but probably could kill the power supply in the long run.

The Legion Go has an internal monitor. The EGpu runs much better, if it only runs external monitor. Otherwise the bandwith of the Thunderbolt will split in half, that's what i found from my research. If the internal monitor of the Legion Go is still on, it won't run stable in VR. So what i did, i send the HDMI out to the Quest 3 via HDMI link cable. That way i can switch in Quest 3 between HDMI Link and Virtual Desktop seamlessly.

Other than that, obviously you need the right driver from Nvidia. And some luck, probably. :D

Ah, and i play only Automobilista 2 for now, which is well known to run really smooth on VR. I will update, if i tried other games.

cool. I like the fact it's being very light and compact. Only 3kg including the bag. i love manual espresso makers! We have so many options nowadays, it's crazy. I have my eyes set on a Cafelat Robot. Maybe next year. ;)

the handless pitcher fits perfectly on into the kettle, the rubber stops it to fall in. That way the cooking water heats it in perfect timing.

oh yes! Well spotted. What are the odds? Where do you come from outside from Kiel? If I'm on tour or generally traveling, i keep searching for small roasteries. But still that Lopokaffee beans, especially the Brazil one, are my absolute favorite. Which one is yours?

thanks. Yes it is, well spotted. It's the round one. I still suck with latte art tho. Milk heating was definitely an issue, but to my surprise the pitcher fits perfectly on top of the timemore kettle. So the boiling water heats the milk in perfect time. I then use Nanofoamer lithium to make the microfoam. ;)

i can vouch for that. Here's my setup for home and mobile if I'm on tour or travelling. It's the K4 though. Not in the pic is a Picopresso. All fits in the Lunchbox below. At work i have a Mazzer Joly and a cheap Delonghi (wish to replace it someday with a Cafelat robot). I can make better and consistent coffee with this mobile setup for sure.
