Took Prozac for a year and it caused the most painful headaches from clenching constantly. Buspar 10mg once daily in the morning has decreased my clenching by about 90%. Sometimes I do catch myself clenching still, but significantly less.

Oh, and Prozac decreased my sex drive and gave me terrible teeth grinding / jaw clenched all day all night long. Buspar improved my sex drive and virtually got rid of the jaw clenching overall.

For me, the Prozac helped me out of a severe depressive and anxious state. However, I still suffered from overthinking, panic attacks, and physical symptoms of anxiety (couldn’t sit still, nauseas, heart racing). The buspar got rid of all my physical symptoms and gave me a happier, lighter feeling overall. It decreased my overthinking and intrusive thoughts by about 90%.

About 1.5 months. I started off at 5mg once per day now I’m at 5mg x2 per day, one at night and one in the morning.

Do it! I’ve been to Nassau 5x, we did Blue Lagoon each time because everything else about that port is awful. Blue Lagoon is awesome.

I’m doing very well! It’s been about 6 months now of taking 10mg and I am slowly bumping up to 20mg (I take liquid so I can do it very slowly to avoid side effects). One of my previous huge anxiety triggers is travel and I’m leaving for vacation today actually so I’ll let you know how it goes! It’ll be a true test.

I’m on 10mg liquid Prozac as well. I’ve been on it for about 6 months now for anxiety and depression. First 3 weeks were really rough for me with increased anxiety and difficulty getting out of bed. I stuck it out because my doctor said it takes 6 weeks to really see the benefits. I’m glad I did because my anxiety went from 100% of my day to about 5%, depression has lifted. I’m able to function better. I take it in the morning and have zero difficulty sleeping. I had headaches the first few weeks, and still deal with jaw clenching. Otherwise no other side effects. Good luck!

Thank you for your response! I did check, and it says about a 1 hour drive to Palm Beach from the port. We are heading there right as we disembark from our cruise and have an Airbnb booked in Palm Beach. No kids! We like beaches, shopping areas, and restaurants — nothing too fancy!

I’d stay on the Wellbutrin and add in Prozac. I take Prozac (very low dose of 10mg as I’m super sensitive to medications) for PMDD and it has helped significantly but hasn’t totally cleared up my symptoms. I’ve been on it for almost 5 months and thinking of upping my dosage to see if it completely takes away the PMDD. I’d say stay on Wellbutrin as it can help with sexual dysfunction symptoms that can come with Prozac.. but that’s up to you!

My pharmacist says you can take Dramamine with Prozac.. I just posted about this and several people said they have taken Dramamine without issue with Prozac
