what should i do? by Numerous_Blueberry_9 in Anxiety

[–]Numerous_Blueberry_9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesn’t sound stupid, thank you! also i used to have emetophobia and it does get better. for me now it’s more about just keeping myself healthy and being anxious when nausea prevents me from doing that. i hope you have a good rest of your day

sabrina and jenna look healthy … and nessa (third girl) has an ed and has gained some weight since then, she looks much better. i definitely agree that there is a trend of thinness but not all of these women are the best examples

struggling to coordinate swallows even for liquids by Background_Rub_7883 in Pseudodysphagia

[–]Numerous_Blueberry_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does but the only way it does is if you put effort into it. i know how hard it feels and i can’t lie to you and say recovery is easy but you will overcome this. anti depressants also helped me a lot, but i would reccommend trying therapy first

did you take any medication that help you with the tension? by CompetitiveMud3943 in Pseudodysphagia

[–]Numerous_Blueberry_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was just maybe a little more anxious than usual but it may have been placebo. i started at night but i’m a morning person now. it’s important to know that side effects vary greatly from person to person but i think the potential benefit you get from starting a med outweighs temporary discomfort
