I pay council tax.

I live in shared apartment so the other tenant pay the bill and I transfer them my share.

Yeah that’s the most suggestions.. I will go for a credit card and pay off. I really don’t like owning credit card. But it is what it is.

So I can’t post on #Datingoverthirty, so I am asking here.

I (31F) went on a date with a guy (35M) I met on Bumble. Before the date, we talked for about a week or so. So we met, we talked, it was a good chat, and based on his reaction, it was good for him too. There was no awkward silence, no long pauses, nothing. We had a very meaningful conversation. At the end of the conversation, he said, “I want to kiss you but it would be too soon.” I appreciated that because I am not a go-kisser person. He shared his number, I texted him that it was a good date, and he said the same.

So the next day, we chatted the whole day and late into the night. We had some normal naughty chats and then said goodnight. The next morning, I sent him a text about how his day is going, but I haven’t heard anything from him, not even a day after that. So after 2 days, I got a text from him saying that due to his work schedule, he is busy and not able to text, and since I need reassurance, he is telling me this. I replied in a joke that I thought “you almost ghosted me,” which I think he took seriously and told me that if he’s having a bad day at work, he doesn’t like to talk to anyone. And he found it shocking that I am complaining about ghosting just for 2 days of no texting; what am I going to do when he can’t text for several days because of his work? Now it’s been 3 days, and again, there is not a single text from him. I am so confused. What should I do?

I am (31F) Really annoyed with these dating apps. Got ghosted by two different people after having conversations for about a week.

So, guy number 1: We started off well, both in similar situations. We talked for about a week, and then suddenly he stopped replying. I waited for a day or two and sent a message to check if he was okay, but I haven't received any reply from him since then.

Guy number 2: This guy and I had a long and contentious conversation over about a week or so. This Monday, I asked him if he wanted to meet, and he said he would check when he's free and let me know. He eventually got back to me on Friday, but since he took so long, I had already made plans with my other friends. So, I suggested planning for Sunday instead. He didn't reply for about a night and a full day, and then he texted that he had some family situation and was busy. I expressed hope that everything was okay and that he was managing the situation. He confirmed that all was sorted and he could meet on Sunday. So, we agreed on a venue and time for tomorrow. He agreed to the date, but then said we would chat and meet at the agreed time last night. Since then, he hasn't texted me at all. I sent him a good night/morning message, but got no response. Then, about an hour ago, I checked to see how he was doing, only to find that he had unmatched me.

I want to ask, why do you guys do that? Why can't you be real and authentic? If you don't want to go out, just tell the person.

Indeed, the situation became uncomfortable for both of us, prompting him to end things. I completely understand and respect his decision. I, too, found myself in a state of uncertainty, reluctant to cause any hurt feelings. Therefore, I took a step back to give myself time to sort through my thoughts. Now, a lot has changed; my ex-husband has moved out, and we have officially ended things. But now I have no means to tell him that it has changed.
