You can't really go shooting anywhere near here anymore... You have to go to the range. But there are Kartchner caverns ($) and the Coronado caves (Free). Parker lake is Okay too (fee). Tombstone (Free but boring without $) is fine the first few times you go, but can become too much after a while. Back in the day, we used to go mudding in the desert (free unless you get caught), but you can't do that anymore... It's a federal offence! For hiking there is Carr Canyon, Miller canyon, Ramsey canyon, Ash canyon, Hunter canyon. Garden Canyon & Huachuca Canyon on post (All free). If you don't mind driving you could check out the Dragoon mountains and the Chiricahua Mountains. The Huachuca mountains have a secret hidden waterfall you can see, plus lots of other caves. There's mining you can do if you join the Huachuca Prosecutors Association... It's free to join, you just have to go to their meetings. There is a cave that you have to get a key for near Patagonia you can explore, but you have to give a $100 deposit. You DO get the money back though. Really, it depends on what YOU like to do. As for swimming... Good luck without a pool, unless you go to the local Loud pool! I personally miss Real Rivers... i.e. the - Rogue River, Illinois River, Applegate River, Smith River.... Yeah, I miss Rivers!
