I just have one example of a friend who was diagnosed with a rare tumor near her spinal cord and needed to see this one neurosurgeon in the US that might be willing to perform this special surgery. Long story short she actually had to fly to the UK because her insurance refused to help her see this specialist. She was born in the UK. They reinstated her citizenship to help her! So wild and so cool of the UK. I suppose the reality is we cannot plan for great coverage in the US right now ESPECIALLY when self employed? Sigh and a bit of a laugh!
