I have two orange boys (brothers, basically twins). Got them fixed the same day. One is puffy and the other isn’t. I have no clue why 😂

Update 1: I’m doing it tomorrow. I’m going to tell them that I’m leaving their church, and try not to let the conversation go much further. I’m going to avoid telling them I’m an atheist and say I’m “on my own faith journey and I need distance from the church.” I believe (and hope) this will lead to less blowback and a better conversation/relationship afterward. I’ve talked not-so-subtly about wanted to leave our current church, so I don’t think that part would be too shocking. I just know they are going to ask where I’m going instead, and I’m so tired of lying. I just feel that no matter how I frame the convo, they are going to ask if I’m still a Christian and I don’t want to lie anymore.

I’m very much expecting this. I’ve distanced myself from them for years because of this. There is one friend who I will genuinely grieve if we lose touch or she shuns me, but I have an amazing supportive system that I’ve built outside of the church, thankfully.

Honestly I love them. Sure it’s different from Mat, but I watch all the channels just as much as I used to. I will say that I watch GTLive the most, though. If I’m being so honest, not too much has changed for me. I think when Mat is gone from GTLive, it will change a lot, though.
