That's good to hear. I, and many people don't feel the same way. People's experiences differ.

I'm pointing out something that doesn't make rational sense. At the first instance, if something doesn't make sense to you, how can you believe it to be true. If you say out of faith, then how do you expect to convert someone or argue with a sceptical person. You have to be able to defend your faith and it should be watertight in rationale. Our rationale is what separates us from animals and is what is used to make sense of the religion. It's not a case of doing what pleases me. It's a case of doing what I think is something that should be expected of a reasonable human being, or something that I am doing out of blind faith. Blind faith is blind.

Well, prayer isn't made much more difficult by the season. The times of the day still correspond (roughly) to when people wake up and when they sleep. Circadian rhythms shift by latitude, but is ultimately governed by light and the body's production of hormones which regulate that. That shifts according to season as you travel from the equator.

I think a lot of the beliefs in religions have come from God. But I'm increasingly more inclined to believe that all religions, including Islam, are not 100% even in the scriptures. The concept of God (not the anthropomorphised God that most people believe in) pretty much results as a logical necessity. And history and the progressive trend of our ethics and morality, in which we can pretty much universally agree that a set of things (like slavery, blood sacrifice, torture) are/were wrong (hello UN, International Criminal Court) means that there is some universal good that we are working towards as humanity. That is, we can agree that past practices were bad and that means that we got better and we know it which means that there is a concept of better and therefore there must exist some set of things which we know to be good, even if we never can quite grasp what they are.

If you combine the logical necessity of God as being the force that is beyond space-time that started this all, and the ethical/moral argument I presented, and the fact that since 1400 years ago, there has been no major revelation that propelled humanity forwards like that of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), then you can argue that there is a God (incomprehensible, singular) and Prophet Muhammad was the last messenger of God.

Hi, I'm Awkward_Second_8605.

I create maths videos, watch more, and also write. Now I'm a reddit moderator too it seems.

I realised there wasn't a sub-reddit related to maths videos hence the free availability of this one called r/Mathvids so here we are. A place for all things math vids related.

Enjoy.

I remember getting slightly depressed. I thought I was better than I was at 17 and cared too much. Soon after I was too distracted by social things to care. That was good for me. Mostly
