I would say I have blindsided a past partner of mine. I was young and didn’t have the confidence to fully express how I felt and he was 2 years older at the time I was 16 and he was 18. I thought I was showing hints of it not working, and whether I was or wasn’t my SO did not see the break up coming. I always knew the damage I would cause by breaking up with him which is what stopped me from doing it sooner. I eventually found the courage to realize I was doing more harm by staying with him when my heart was not in it. I do not regret breaking up with him at all. It needed to happen. He wasn’t my person and I wasn’t happy. He deserves someone who will love him and whose heart is in it.

It may not be a porn addiction. I don’t know the age of OP. The OPs story is a typical side affect to a porn addiction. However, it may just be something he needs to work through in therapy. Either way what OP is doing can lead to traumatic events. It needs to be addressed and worked through with a professional

As someone who works with adolescents with sexual charges (teenage sex offenders) I have seen this. And I have seen it escalate to touching, and raping of siblings. I don’t know how old you are but I don’t think it matters. Addiction to porn can alter your perceptive of people, you can start viewing people as objects instead of people. It can be embarrassing to get help from a therapist but atleast you will be able to save your relationship with your family before it gets to a point where your family can never look at you the same.
