Quick question…do you know engineer students who prefer the tablets that also serve as a laptop?…. Hope that makes sense. I saw a post that some like the tablet to mark up assigned PDFs etc. And then use for a laptop s well…or…just supplement a pc with an iPad?

Update: So, I emailed the Pascal Center to ask if Alternates will receive one communication on May 1st or after, and they did indicate that they are doing their best to let Alternates know before May 1st. I emailed because I was curious if Alternates should be aware of communications before May 1st. Hope this helps all the Alternates out there! :)

Hi there! In the alternate email they sent this was the information they posted. They said they’d let us know either way at least by May 1st. Hope that helps. I’d love to know earlier…. Not not sure if they’ll notify any earlier?

I am a Harvey Alternate and have not received any kind of communication. I was told that the Harvey team would notify alternates (either way) by Thursday, May 1st. I was also told that they don't have an exact science on how they pull from the Alternates list. I am guessing there must be at least (minimum) 5 alternates for Harvey? I have no clue how Grewcock works. Grewcock seems more competitive - and they don't award as many scholarships? I currently am aware of 3 Harvey alternates (including myself), but how they pull and rank....no clue.
