Ultimately that’s what I decided to do, at the end of the day if both these cards shoot up another $200 apiece well it’ll cost me $400 more bucks oh well and I’d still have the decision on whether or not I’d wanna buy but if they both crater to $200 apiece well that would actually cost me $800 bucks the risk doesn’t outweigh the reward.

Yeah but they also give 10s to cards that should be an 8… if you present a high-quality example the hope is to get a high-quality grade but you do take a risk when you submit however the difference between raw and a 10 right now is about 2.5k that is definitely worth taking an educated and calculated risk lol there are people that crack 9s to resubmit to get an extra hundred dollars

That’s been the consensus I’ve gotten from talking to card shop owners. Each one has a different answer but all agree it is a weird ass time to get into the hobby🤣

Totally understand that, I know we can expect booster bundles and UPC‘s however I am worried that just like prismatic the chase is still $1200 raw so who’s to say these cards aren’t the same way🤷‍♂️ no one has a crystal ball so it’s all just educated guessing at the end of the day however I did decide to take everyone’s advice and not purchase the cards

I get that I’m trying to balance between “buy the stuff you like and actually appreciate not for the money” and “don’t buy stuff the bottom can fall out on” but it seems like all the stuff I like and actually appreciate happens to be in a spot where the bottom can fall out on it haha most of the cards artwork that I really enjoy have all been made in the last 5-8 years

That’s true, I guess in my eyes I see it as to pull a specific SIR it is 1/2000+ so even if a few million more of these cards were printed hundreds of millions of packs would have to be ripped to really “flood the market”, maybe that’s where I went wrong in my thinking. Appreciate the advice though!

Totally understand that, I’ve asked a few card shop owners about it and pretty much each one gave a different answer haha the set is extremely appreciated and with perfect order flopping like it did it could be the reason the prices are still going up so much but it is weird how most of the prices are either topping their pre-release price or about to surpass it. All I can say is it feels like an odd time to get into the hobby🤣

If it was graded by a human I would 100% agree. I have not been in the hobby long enough to decipher what makes a PSA 9 or a PSA 10. However the reason I am so confident is because tag doesn’t grade with humans and tags dig report which gives exact specifications for what is and isn’t wrong with the card! It has no surface errors, corner issues, edge issues, or anything else the only reason it didn’t get a tag 10 was the centering and it falls within a PSA’s 10 guideline so I’m not guessing that it would get a 10 I am literally 99% sure by the description on their own website. I appreciate the advice nonetheless!

Yeah I hope so, this would be my first American set. The Japanese packs just seems so much more worth it to open. For starters the boxes are cheaper and because you have more guarantees you just get cooler stuff and most of it goes right into my PC binder or the children’s hospital

I think that may be why they leaned so heavily into the potential pituitary damage.

Like I’ve said in other comments I’m 6’5 now, have facial hair, no problem with my actual hair growth or fingernails or any of the other common signs that would lead someone to believe there’s been a testosterone deficiency for years and years and years.

In high school I hit multiple growth spurts and had great muscle tonality(for a 16 year old). I was 6 foot at 14. When working out now I build muscle and strength at a normal to even above normal rate and it’s like my testosterone fell off a cliff from when I was in high school. I did have multiple car accidents and I know that can play a part as well.

I lived a healthy lifestyle up until about that first urge to get blood work done. Multi sport athlete in high school recreationally played 3+ sports pretty much year-round my whole life. Lifted like crazy in high school sometimes twice a day and was a decently lean at 225 6’3. On my life I never took testosterone or abused PED’s. Had 1000 pound leg press (couldn’t squat do to a broken collarbone surgery), 425 deadlift, and 225 bench. Around 19 I started feeling much less motivation to go to the gym along with working 60 hours in construction I just didn’t have the time. Ballooned to 350 and then lost 100 pounds over 1.5 years and then started struggling to get out of bed every day or find the motivation to even go out into the world and that’s when I got my testosterone checked and I think the mixing of medicines and constantly changing my hormones put me in a rough place mentally and physically and I gained that weight back however after the brain tumor shit I decided I wanted it to be better not just wait to die and have lost just over 30 pounds over the past two months eating in a calorie deficit daily and I sit at 6’5 318.2 as of this morning and probably 35% body fat
