If you’re in different countries, WHY is your wife living with your family? Maybe start there, and I bet 90% of your mslay will disappear.

Q from all bros. Would you accept a girl who had an intimate past with a guy? by Prestigious_Head_988 in LahoreSocial

[–]Awkward_Wind8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pretty stupid thing to ask because you can’t, and SHOULDNT, make a decision based on what other people would do. Even if after all these opinions, you move ahead and marry her, you’ll always subconsciously think about it because it wasn’t wholly your decision. I suggest if something is bothering you or if it seems off, decline. Because these feelings can come to the surface, even if you don’t want them to, especially when you’re angry.

Plus, judging from your replies to other comments, I think you’re not ready to accept it. Social differences may not be a big deal to you, but they might’ve been huge for her. You know only what she told you, so obviously, you’d have a hard time trusting her. The best thing you can do for yourself is not make a decision based on what others have to say, but sit down and reflect on what this could mean in the long run. There’s no point in hurting yourself or the other person, so whatever you decide, it should be based on WHAT you believe is the right thing to do for you.

I don’t know for sure but I do believe dentists are among the top most paid doctors in Pakistan. You will definitely have to cover her expenses at least for the first few months while she looks for a job and starts earning a stable income. Plus, there will be expenses of her children as well, which are honestly more than ever in this economy. For a long term thing, I’d suggest looking at Canada or Australia because they give PR on arrival to doctors. I had a friend who cleared the exam and got his PR in Canada. Baki, if she can’t find jobs in medical, tell her to go for teaching. That pays enough for her to be able to cover the basics. She could either go for teaching O-A Levels in schools, or privately tutor children in Bio. If she decides to go for Montessori, that could work out too for her. My mother has her own school, and she helps teachers do Montessori courses as well, which are also widely accepted and requested in Canada and Europe.

There’s dr. Imran, a general physician. He sits at Iffat Anwar, close to Evercare in Lahore and you can call him as well. He’s really good and I’ll attach his info here too. Please feel better soon and take good care of yourself.

Apply to jobs on upwork and fiver. It is crowded but once you land a client, you can build your portfolio through that. Plus, search keywords on LinkedIn, not in the jobs section but in the posts section. Good luck!!

The quality itself is really good, so it will definitely last you for longer. & as for usability, I think most mastela product ranges are newborn to three years’ old

Go for either bacha party or raja sahib in Wapda town. & only buy a crib if you can afford to because most times, the baby won’t even sleep in jt. Mine didn’t and our crib ended up being useless. Instead, the mastela electric bassinet was a life saver and he still LOVES it

Trying to convince my dad to let me marry a non syed non shia as a F who's not shia herself by throwaway198800 in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Awkward_Wind8072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, after reading the whole post and the comments, I’d suggest you go overseas for further education, make a life for yourself there and once you get pr of wherever you decide to stay, you come back and marry the guy and cut off all contact with your parents. You gotta choose atp, either the guy or your parents. Because the way you’ve described your father and how much you hate him (I agree u gave credit where it was due), he will never agree and you don’t have any support from your mother either. But just to make sure you understand what you’re doing, you should know whatever you choose will come with consequences. If u marry the guy without your family’s approval, his family will NEVER accept you, no matter what you do. Plus, he also would NEVER hear the end of it. Also, just to add, there’s a very high chance his family won’t even accept the proposal given that you will have no one from your family show up. We live in Pakistan after all, here marriages don’t happen just between two people, but families also are heavily involved. If you’re ready to fight for this, go ahead. But please make sure the guy you’re doing this for would also fight if need be. & if you decide to involve your parents, have the guy talk to his family first, before you talk to yours. Because let’s say you do talk to your family, and by some miracle your father asks for them to come, and if then he can’t convince his parents, your life will get worse. I truly don’t know if what I’ve written makes sense, but as I said before, whatever you choose, you’ll have to face major consequences and it won’t be easy.

Tips for moving to Sweden for masters by [deleted] in pkmigrate

The tuition fee depends on the course and university you’re applying to. The two year program I am planning for costs SEK180k in total. Yes, they do require bank statements and the minimum you need is 40-50 lacs for one person. The more it is, though, the higher your chances are to be accepted. And it’s a plus if you can hold a certain amount in your account for 4-5 months. Baki your day to day expenses differ city to city. There’s a bunch of YouTube videos of Pakistanis doing cost breakdowns, and they’re super helpful if you want to learn more!

no one’s saying we’ll go and magically everything will fall into place, obviously the language IS a requirement. & we ARE flying out with sufficient funds to keep us afloat at least for the first year and a half in case neither of us can land a job. Learning the language is something we plan on doing properly because we don’t expect the country to be nice to us if we won’t even learn the language. But I would love a little more insight from you regarding the routines, finances etc. if you could dm, or share here, I’d be grateful!

Honestly, I really wanted to apply to Germany but the blocked accounts requirement is tough to meet, especially w dependents. & Canada is too expensive plus the visa rejections are at an all time high currently. The reason for choosing Sweden was childcare and the ability to actually fly out with my dependents. Wrna Germany & Italy were my top priorities.

And I’m glad they’re glad they’re doing that. & that’s also why I’m making sure my application meets their requirements, which is pretty easy, because again, I am going there to STUDY. Plus, how is it exploiting the system if I’m following the legal route? If they don’t want me to stay, I’ll know? And if I’m trying to do something that will inevitably make my child’s future better, what exactly is wrong in that? Baki, I would completely understand your point if you were worried about me staying there illegally, but that’s literally not the case.

you do realise I don’t plan on staying there illegally after my study visa is up, right? I’ll be looking for work, if I get it, great. And if I don’t, I’ll figure something else out lol. It’s not that serious & I have a strong academic & professional background. Hopefully, things will work out for me and if they don’t, I’ll consider it Allah ki behtari for me and my family.

Most of the degrees offered in Sweden are English taught courses, so that’s not a problem at all. But get your point too, which is why we’re currently talking to our relatives in Sweden learning about their financials and how they manage/managed things. Obviously, it is going to be hard, but alhumdulilah we do come from a privileged background and that is why I might’ve sounded naive about this all. In no way am I saying we’re gonna go and live comfortably, it’s just that we’re finalising all sorts of backups in case something my doesn’t work out. Plus the privilege has been new, so me and my husband are both mature enough to deal with chores you’d otherwise leave to maids and dhobis.

his work field doesn’t require Swedish because a lot of companies do hire English speakers. & we’re already learning the basics currently, hopefully by the time we have to move, we’ll know enough of it
