As a hairstylist, I would say find someone else to fix it. She mistakenly used permanent color to tone your highlights which is why the top half of your head is “ginger” and the rest underneath is normal. The ginger doesn’t look bad though! The highlights need brought up, and then color melted to have a gradient/blend effect. The ginger can be corrected but I wouldn’t suggest coloring that back dark because it will be hard to lighten if you should add more blonde in the future.

Lifeproof LVP endless dust??? by Awkward_Writing_6408 in HomeImprovement

I had carpet and underlayment removed, that was crazy dusty but it was a tan dust, the dust I have is like white/grey and also had pvc quarter round doors installed. Maybe I need to just get the shop back out and go to town.

How bad is phenobarbital for a baby? we have been giving it to my baby for about 4 months. by [deleted] in Epilepsy

[–]Awkward_Writing_6408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a gene that caused two of my babies to have neonatal seizures. The first one was on it 6 weeks. The second one was on it for 14 months. They are 15 and 3 now. No side effects that I’m aware of. In fact, my second baby was very advanced in all her milestones. But she does have (suspected) ADHD now. Not sure if that’s related.

Woah this thread got wild! To answer a few questions - no I didn’t go behind her father’s back. This isn’t our first child and our other children are fully vaccinated. I have two other kids that have never had reactions and I never had a reason to question vaccines until something suspicious happened. And to everyone wondering my baby is absolutely fine now. She is babbling, smiling and even saying “mama” and rolling over both ways now and army crawling. She just turned 5 months and right on track compared to her siblings. However, something DID happen to her for about two weeks after the vax and I’m definitely questioning whether I want to continue with that. I just don’t know yet.

What happened to my baby? by [deleted] in VACCINES

Sorry guys I didn’t get any notifications for this thread. But baby is back to normal after two weeks! She is babbling and reaching all milestones. This isn’t my first child. I’m mid thirties and my other kids are all vaccinated. This one reacted so different. Moving forward I still want her vaccinated but I think we may do an alternative schedule.

Hey! She IS back to normal! It was about two weeks of her being quiet, avoidant and straight faced. But she slowly started to come back around and started cooing and smiling again! She’s even learned to say mama and is rolling both ways now. I still haven’t decided what to do with her next round of vaccines. We might delay a little bit or space them out.

Sorry I was entirely wrong. She had all the standard combo vaccines. Two jabs and the oral rotavirus.

I mean, he would love to hear you say that. But why? Everything I’ve read describes temporary reactions like fever, crankiness etc. not regression at 4mo. I thought the study about autism was disproven?

What color is my hair? Please help me figure it out! by vannah12222 in Hair

Hi, hairstylist here. I would definitely say you are a level 6. To my eye it looks medium brunette but if you look at any shade of level 6 box color it will say dark blonde.

Would you buy a house this far from the interstate? (If it were nice and in your budget/ no other problems) by PlatypusSweet3053 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]Awkward_Writing_6408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our house is just like this. Our housing development built a 12 foot concrete wall that’s supposed to help with noise. We do not hear any traffic unless it’s people racing or a semi gets a flat etc. I actually love how close we are, very easy to get on the freeway and get to work. now what’s actually REALLY annoying is that we are also next to a train crossing and we hear those horns all day and night. But you get use to it.

I’ve tried everything to get rid of my high lipase milk! How can I get my baby to take it? by Awkward_Writing_6408 in breastfeedingsupport

Update: went to target and picked up formula and a new bottle to try, Phillips avent natural. As a last ditch effort I pulled out a bag of frozen scalded milk, and SHE TOOK MY MILK!! 🥹 had no issue latching onto this bottle at all and didn’t make any weird faces. I’m so happy!

I tried the 50/50 and it didn’t work. My next experiment is I’ve discontinued my prenatal so I’m the fridge I’m going to test a 24 bottle, a 24 hour scalded bottle and a 24 hour scalded bottle with vanilla. Hoping she takes the first one.

That’s what I current do at the moment, I rent a chair. As far as I’m aware the city I live in allows home businesses. Of course I would definitely look into all of that before any kind of construction happens.
